Florida junior day 1/18/2025 Live Thread
Today is the first of three junior days for head coach Billy Napier and the University of Florida. The following junior days will be on the 25th and the 1st. This should last from 9:00 AM to around 3:00 PM. I will use this thread for any updates later in the day, or if you see anything on social media, this will be the thread to post it. I spoke to many players over the last 48 hours who were scheduled to attend today. And numerous recruits are extremely fired up for this visit. I will be very curious to see how things go today. None more so than quarterback Will Griffin and Tight End Kekua Aumua from IMG Academy.

"Today, I had a great overall experience. I met with Coach Roberts, Coach Gibbs, and also with Coach Napier towards the end of the day. So it was a good day."

"The experience was terrific. They did a great job of making my family and me feel welcome and like we were already part of the Gator family. Coach Harris was the first to greet me, and he hung out with us a lot and made sure we had everything we needed. It was cool hanging out with the other recruits. I know some of them from competing against them in either my football season or 7v7, so that was good."

"The experience was unmatched! I was greeted by coach Will Harris and Billy Napier. I engaged in great conversation with both coaches. I got a great feel of the campus, the academics, and the athletics. The recruits and I connected well throughout the visit. The vibe and energy were high and great as well. I even got to go to the Florida vs Texas basketball game which was as advertised. The game and atmosphere definitely didn't disappoint."

"This was my first time actually walking around the campus and getting a feel of what UF is like, and it was amazing. Coach Caleb, Coach Decoster, and Coach Sale talked as soon as we grabbed breakfast. Really just talked about how amazing the program is and how they do things on and off campus. The vibe was amazing as well, and not gonna lie; I was amazed by UF today, im most definitely looking forward to coming back in the spring."

"The experience today was electric and informative. All of the Gator Offensive Line coaches greeted me when I arrived: Coach Sale, Coach Johnson, and Coach Decoster. I loved how everyone was welcoming and reassuring. They left no gray areas concerning academics, facilities, and program schedules. During the visit, I kept thinking about how this opportunity as a Gator could mark the beginning of my college journey, where I step out on my own and potentially pave the way for playing at the next level in the NFL. It could also open doors to building lifelong relationships and connections. Attending a university like Florida could set the foundation for a successful career in sports or beyond."
