What exactly is the problem? Like any law, if you don't want to run the risk of the consequences, then don't commit the crime. Regardless of this law, the vast majority of people aren't going to be raping children anyway, so the vast majority of people aren't affected. Those that are inclined to rape children, well hopefully this law deters a portion of them from doing so. There will still be evil scumbags who rape children regardless of the laws and perhaps this law will prevent repeat offenders since if they get caught after the first time, then they hopefully won't have a chance at a second, third, etc time.

It does not impact me because I'm not assaulting children. I care about children the world over being assaulted so laws like this that hopefully help to decrease assaults on children are fine by me. Your unfavorable opinion for such laws is an odd response and not a great look for you.
