Jarrad Davis has watched plenty of game tape on LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette.

The junior linebacker has spent time in the film room analyzing Fournette's 27-carry, 140-yard performance against Florida at home last season that saw the LSU tailback score two touchdowns in The Swamp as just a freshman at the time. Davis has also caught up on all of Fournette's games this season and has seen an improvement from last year to now.

After all, now halfway into the regular season, Fournette is the Heisman Trophy favorite after rushing for a nation-leading 1,022 yards and 12 touchdowns on 119 carries in the Tigers' first five games for a whooping 8.6 yards per carry. Fournette is only 12 yards shy of his yardage total from 2014 and has 230 rushing yards or greater than every other running back in the nation -- and he's played one fewer game than a lot of them.
