Florida and FSU odds for week 3.

Actually I read an article today that says the FSU offense is one of the better ones in the country right now. At least by the numbers put up. Something like it's in the 20's or some such? It's the defense which is well into the 100's ranked for FBS schools which seems to be killing them.

At least they are lining up the correct number of players on the field unlike last year.

Defense is getting off the field quickly, giving the offense more chances to score. Problem is, they are supposed to be making the other offense punt to them, not kick off to them. That's the flaw in their strategy.

Stoops is never going to win anything at Kentucky. If a job comes calling where he has an opportunity to win championships then he’s gone.

As much as I dislike FSU he wouldn’t stay at UK if FSU came calling. No freaking way!

He seems like a good coach...above what FSU has now he would be a huge upgrade although I remember the FSU faithful bitching and complaining about him.

My post was just a response to an FSU fan who thinks he knows more what UK fans care about than the UK fans themselves. I do believe it's not out of reach for UK to win a football title. When is another question. Yeah, I know they actually have one with Bear Bryant as coach back in 1950. Almost 20 years ago people laughed at me when I told them all UK needs is a coach committed to their football program, despite their passion for everything hoops.

I get why they claim 1950, because without it they have nothing, but that's a Sagarin title from his silly computer rankings, which he started doing in the 80's. Weird to claim a title more than 30 years after the season ends. I'd rank it right up there with UGa's 1942 claim for bogusness.

This reminds me of the days when the Kentucky fans kept telling us Billy Donovan would leave Florida for UK anytime UK called. Not only did BD say no to Kentucky once, but twice, but I don't remember UK fans trashing BD as an assistant but there were some who trashed him for his early exits from the tourney early in his career.
