Even more reasons the SCOTUS needs ethics reform.

How about we just agree then. If saying someone is a troll isn’t name calling….

Then neither is saying someone is an idiot, an asshole, etc. cool? Because it’s the same language being used with the only differentiation being the noun used.

Deal?

Oh, I don’t care if you want to be accused or not. Deal with it.
It's not your site, so it's not your call. You have zero power in this.

It’s in my authority to use logic. I don’t report like you so I can use that logic to make the call on what something is, and your hypocrisy. Jason isn’t needed to show that, you do it yourself.

So I ask again. Can we just agree that if it’s ok to call Someone a troll,
Then it’s ok to call them an idiot, asshole etc?

Just a gentlemen’s agreement? Or are people on the left not able to function in society without a governing authority deciding for them?

I bet you won’t answer the question because….you debate “in good faith”. Uhuh.

he is just like the rest of the girls here, once they feel they cant overwhelm those that are not idiotic they try to get them banned. As i have said, LOW T is an easy thing to address now.
It's the Trump approach. Accuse everyone and everything of name calling/trolling and therefore when you do it, it looks normal. It's how you "normalize" breaking rules.

I will agree with whatever Fresno and Jason says the rules are. I'm not sure why you are struggling with that. Whatever you think is irrelevant, this isn't your site and you're not a moderator.

And again. What they say has zero to do with the point.

The point was your hypocrisy that was exposed. You cry about lesser things. It is what it is.

So again. Thanks for acknowledging my win.

Project much? ONe of us has directly called the other a name. A troll. The other has not.

This is why no one takes you seriously.

💊

This is going to change, within the next couple of years.

It's headed thru the courts now, I believe that it will show up in SCOTUS eventually I just don't know if the Plaintiff will be FB or Twitter.
I'll like to question, who has standing.

On a Micro level, the last couple pages show the difference in self governance vs big Government and which posters fall where. 🤷‍♂️.

So happy I can read. Can’t imagine not being able to, and needing someone else to lean on for understanding. 💊

100% don’t ever shake the hand of the devil, you will get burned every time. That rats got the integrity of a fly.

What the hell yo. That's not how you construct an honest argument.

That's holding forth on a subject and then expecting him/them to take your word for it.

The purpose of discussion is to state your case and then defend it. Against ALL comers.

I'm not going to call you names, but I am damn sure going to hold you accountable for what you say. I am dissappointed AF in you man.
Why are you disappointed? This is exactly who Kalim is, and has been from the beginning.

He claimed he was an Independent. He might be the furthest left active poster on this board.

He claimed he loves to do research, but can’t read a simple article that takes less than 4 minutes to read because it would mean he was wrong….and he says he argues in good faith but the above example makes it clear that’s a lie too.

He shows you who he is every day, all you have to do is pay attention.

You aren't seeing this thru my lens. As such, I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

Fair enough. That said, there isn’t a better example of not debating in good faith than when you call someone a name, then are willing to die on the hill that you didn’t when it’s a Fact, and easy to prove.

It’s LITERALLY how English works. Someone willing to do that over something that meaningless will never debate in good faith.

The funny part is that I actually don’t give a rip about being called anything. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy, and factually show who he is. And it was easy to do.

If this were mortal combat…

This is such bs. I agree with you on alot of policies, so does that make you far left? You guys just say silly stuff for likes.

Our major disagreement is Trump and Biden but when we get down to policies we align more than you'll like to admit.

Not everyone shifts seamlessly thru black and white culture.

I do. I code switch as necessary, and my diction changes as necessary determined by my environment and my patois changes with my audience.

I don't want to tell you its a black thing. But it is what it is.

Interesting. There is definitely a cultural difference on this board.

🤨

Don’t have to tell me. I do the same, and yet it still….is what it is.

Also of note, I can’t stand the “black culture” pigeon hole/umbrella. Why? Because black culture is different in different areas.

South, North, city, country etc.

And in any “culture” facts are still facts.

Psst. There are cultural differences everywhere. And guess what, one doesn’t get to use that as an excuse when one says things under oath….for example.

It’s a bad excuse.

Id prefer not to get deep into it. but i wasn't given a choice. I was raised in the country and now i stay in the hood.

Forgive the term, but I'm negro adjacent. I have experienced what a black man experiences without the luxury of the black community backing me.

I understand why K does what he does. And i understand why you do what you do.

Its a unique perspective and a teachable moment.

ya feel me?

Sounds like when George Santos said that he's Jewish but then corrected it to Jew-ish 😆.

I would feel you if your life (upbringing and mine) weren’t VERY similar to one another according to your post. Ya feel me?

Which is why I don’t feel ya. Facts are facts regardless of Hood.

Naw man. It aint like that. Im not denying my hillbilly roots or my dotneck lifestyle.

What i am saying is culture does play a part here. And K is teachable, unlike Rayray.

Good luck. I think in the end, you will find a person who says they “set traps” for others, to not be here for being “taught”, but rather…to do exactly what they say they are doing.

Taking him for his word.

For two years of my elementary school life I was part of the integration of Austin schools. I rode a bus for nearly 3 hours a day so I could attend a school where I was bullied, picked on and ostracized. I’ve honestly suppressed many of my memories from that time.

We then moved to Gilmer, TX where I played football for a team where I was in the minority. The coaches would often put me in the Oklahoma drill against the team’s best players and laugh at me when I’d get destroyed.

None of it ever felt like I was being treated differently because of my race, because I was raised that race was just a skin pigment difference. My mom sat me down in middle school and made me watch all 6 VHS tapes of Roots. We talked a lot about what this country did to people based on race, and why that was so evil.

I raised my kids to be so colorblind that my oldest, when he was 6, was asked to name an historical black figure and he blurted out “Troy Aikman”. He had no clue why his answer was wrong.

Given my life experience and the way I’ve always approached people (that we are all the same on the inside), I think we should all be able to separate opinions from facts. People that can’t do that, well those people will not be given a pass from me. And on this forum - we are all handles and posts. We are humans, we are all ultimately equals.

You’ve said 20 times the border doesn’t concern you?
I said I don't care about it. Like I won't be voting because of it but I agreed with you on the policy of it. I'm even ok with a wall.

So I guess you're the most liberal person on here too! (Your words). Smh

I love your mom. That was some great stuff that she did. I respect that.

Aikman isn't black? Haha

Lord, as soon as you said diction changes as necessary determined by your environment, I immediately thought of Obama and the expression "dropping his "g"s. You knew the kind of audience he was speaking too based on whether he was dropping his "g"s. He was good at it. Lots better than Hillary or Brian Kelly trying to use a southern accent.

We’re still friends with his first grade teacher. She actually flew from TX to VA for his graduation. She’s great people.

I coach, and I do it to help young people . My start was in youth football (I now coach HS lacrosse). One day the commissioner brought a late registered kid to me that looked super goofy and awkward. His “dad” and mom were there.

The age below me HBC walked up to me and asked if I knew who that was. Apparently he coached “dad” (it wasn’t the player’s dad, it was his uncle) and the kid got arrested at practice at 12 for selling weed. He has been in and out of jail his whole life.

Fast forward this kid is a stud athlete and, at least when he was with me, a model citizen. But his family was such a mess that I made it mandatory that he stay the night with my son on game nights (he had missed a game because mom lost track of him).

The kid was a part of our family, came over and wanted to stay the night even in the off-season. And he didn’t really want to hang with my son, he wanted to be with the whole family.

A few months after he graduated from the age group his mom got popped for cocaine distribution and sent away for a few years. I spent the money to talk to an attorney and presented her with papers to adopt David - he had nowhere to stay while she was away. I promised her I’d get him into college or trade school and pay for it.

She decided to let him make the decision….last I heard he was in Juvenile detention for selling drugs. That was about 3 months ago.

I wished I could have helped that young man more. He is a good kid in a sh!t situation.
