The second part of your statement is the part many don’t understand.
UF does not get IMG kids. And Billy landed him in less than two weeks.
If we can get him then I will be good with this class after all the crap that has went down.
Did the investments into paying coaches ridiculous salaries calmed down? Mullen just got fired. He was making 7 mil for never winning a championship (other than the East). I remember back when SOS was like the first million dollar coach.
Teams(with booster backing, corporate sponsors, etc) have been paying to get (or keep) these coaches. Look at 4 loss Jimbo at aTm.
Then look at all the money they continue to put into facilities.
Has any of that stopped, even when teams don't win big?
I agree one more big boy and the class already exceeds expectation.
But I really believe Billy will deliver a few very nice players on NSD in Feb
