Elon = Trump 2.0

BTW, the lefties on Twitter are actually pushing the moderates to the right. I know @Uniformed_ReRe @GatorTheo and @grandhavendiddy claim Trump is moving moderates to the left, but that's not happening.

Here's what IS: Right now ANYONE on Twitter that even HINTS at supporting ANY move by Musk is immediately 'slurred' as a 'right winger'. And I know many of the people being attacked and they are NOT right wingers. Most are true moderates, some are even lefties. But the lefties on Twitter are so insane that anyone that doesn't attack Musk 24/7 is labeled a right winger.

What's happening is the moderates are being forced to the right by the constant attacks from the left. It's hilarious, especially when you consider that the left worshipped Elon prior to April of 2022.

Elon Musk has banned the Twitter accounts of the app that tracked his jet, the creator of that app and several high-profile reporters who covered the story. He has even, apparently, applied for a new FAA program, which makes it harder to track his plane.
 
The corruption of The Deep State has been more exposed by Musk in < 1 Month than ALL of Legacy Media in the last 10 years…. FACT!

I think a lot of people have grown skeptical of any 'news' they hear. Both sides generate a lot of total BS and it's packaged like news or, at least, inside information.

I mean, how much earthshaking news have we heard in the last few years that turned out to be nothing?

I disagree. The legacy media is ignoring / misreporting the story as they usually do. They prefer to keep Trump in the news so as not to have to focus on the failures and incompetence of the Biden administration (whom they largely agree with, so why would they?).

The public interest is poorly served by this media bias.

Can you claim with a straight face that DOJ / FBI applies equal justice under the law?

Notwithstanding the narrow majority they will have in the next Congress I’m thankful that Republicans will control of the House and will hopefully bring more of this deep state corruption to light.

I'm sure we have several Civil War buffs here. As you know from studying the war, the South almost won. In fact, the South was ahead from a strategic point of view after the first couple of years. It had better generals, Robert E Lee is widely regarded as one of the top military strategists in world history.

But the turning point for the North in winning the war was to cut off the South's supplies from Europe. The South heavily counted on Europe to give us the supplies we needed to keep fighting. When the North blockaded Mobile and other ports, it was a crippling blow, and the turning point in the war.

This is precisely what Elon is doing right now. This war against the enemies of the US is very much an information war. For the last few years, our enemies have controlled Twitter and have used it to seed and spread lies and false narratives.

Now Elon has taken that ability from them. We've just cut off one of our enemies top supply lines. Not only that, we are now using that same supply line to SUPPLY THE TRUTH.

Again, this is what WINNING looks like. I'm sure it didn't always feel like winning for the North in 1862/1863, but what they were doing then, planted the seeds for victory in 1865.

Hang on Patriot, victory is on the way.

You need to read smarter with a discerning eye...but that's ALWAYS been the case
That's NOT an excuse to just believe anything or say all media is lies

That viewpoint is giving into the extremists on either side

It's a little different now in that you or I, if we put the effort into it, could become a source of news for a lot of people.

Used to be, you had to at least be in the business.

Do we all need to be reminded that the conservative media is facing a billion dollar lawsuit for actively engaging in lying to the country about the last presidential election?

Swore up & down they "backed the blue" when MLK, Malcolm X were killed. When the Black Panthers were targeted. When the "War On Drugs" was being executed...When mass incarceration was employed....when disparate drug sentences were being handed out...etc

And all of sudden when donald trump cries about being investigated you think you have something to yell non-white people in this country about the injustices of law enforcement & the judicial system in this country

Take a number and go to the back of line...you're more than a day late & a dollar short

In April, when Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter, he spoke in elevated terms about fulfilling a high moral purpose. “I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” he said, adding “since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.”

Read that again, then read the news, then laugh hard for an hour. The transformation under Musk’s private ownership, still underway, now consists of barring prominent journalists who covered him and his suspension of an account that, using publicly available data, tracked his private jet’s movements. Such a tantrum is perfectly legal; the sole proprietor of a social media platform is under no obligation to keep it open to anyone. But by succumbing so quickly to the very censorious tendencies he decried, Musk, the self-proclaimed ”free speech absolutist,” becomes the joke and the punchline at the very same time.
