Elijah Conliffe’s season appears to have come to an end before it had a chance to begin.

The junior lineman recently posted a picture of his injured foot followed by another with the caption, “My season ova, so I gotta take it out on somebody,” on his personal Instagram page.

Florida released an official depth chart this week in anticipation for the Miami game and listed Conliffe as battling for the backup defensive tackle position with junior lineman Marlon Dunlap. Adam Shuler is listed as the team’s starter at defensive tackle in front of Conliffe and Dunlap.

Any "insiders" got anything to add ?

Unbelievable - if all 3 of those DTs are really out if I was Miami I would just go Muschamp style Jumbo package football most of the game especially since their freshman OTs probably will struggle pass blocking. This is not good news at all.

Agreed. Is there any way we can get out of the game?

Fever,

Which 3 are you talking about ? Article I read & posted only talked about Elijah Conliffe being out.

Five of the six DTs listed on the recently released depth chart seem to be in good health & ready to play against Miami.

At Tackle, Rivals lists -
Adam Schuler
Elijah Conliffe (foot injury, out for season ?) or Marlon Dunlap

Nose - no new injuries listed
Kyree Campbell
Luke Ancrum or Tedarrell Slayton

Last week, Kyree Campbell & Jean Delance (OT) were listed as dinged up in the 2nd scrimmage, but in his Monday press conference, Mullen made this comment -
"Injury-wise we expect everybody to play," Mullen said. "We have our couple guys with the season-ending injuries, but besides those we’re healthy coming out of training camp, we’re expecting everybody to practice today."

If you know of any other injuries, please post & let us know !

Rumors are that Slaton and Ancrum are suspended I think.

Jeeze,

What more can these young men do to screw up ?

Remember reading that 2 of our ends could play inside (DT) as well as outside but don't think any of them have taken snaps at Nose.

I guess we will find out about all of our dirty linen Saturday, about 10 minutes before kickoff.

It may just be Campbell and a bunch of DE sized players on the starting D line. I don't like that Miami's large 340 pound Guard will probably be lining up against 275 pound Shuler.

Should be good news for you. Better chance we lose.

From G;ville Sun; mostly a rehash on DL; no word on suspensions -

If Conliffe is out, the Gators will be down to five available tackles for Saturday’s game — Tyree Campbell, Adam Shuler, Luke Ancrum,Tedarrell Slaton and Marlon Dunlap. True freshman Jaelin Humphries is still recovering from an unspecified leg injury.

The Gators could get help inside from two ends who have also been working at tackle in certain situations — Jabari Zuniga and Zachary Carter.

LOL. Of course he wants us to lose. Everybody knows he’s a troll.

 Yes I have been trolling here for 11 years wanting the Gators to lose. I should say that about some of you here with all the Coach Butters defending early in year 3 when it was clear he was driving the program into the ground and had been for some time.

And I'm you literally look for any reason to shut on the program.

The most positive you ever talk about things is generally in hindsight, with something like "I'll admit it wasn't as bad as I thought."

Which just means you think it's still bad but not as catastrophic as you hoped.

I don't know why you bother. None of it can be entertaining for you.

You are full of it. It wasn't till Muschamp showed he was never going to fix the offense that I became negative on him and I was hoping Butters would succeed but it was clear late in year 2 he was just living off Muschamp's defenders and wasn't going to fix anything.

I was against the Mullen hire but think he might survive if he can ever fix his recruiting results but we won't be winning any SEC Championships or making the playoffs with the current recruiting. I was definitely wrong on Kelly as he has just checked out as a coach it looks like.
