ECU GAME THREAD. Get ready boys!

Yea our oline is gonna get either QB killed. And cot damn and that scene with Mac and Taylor. I've never seen a coach snap like that on a player. And after a TD, I felt bad for Taylor lol.
HAHA, I didn't see this until after my post....that was very Muschamp-esque.

Yeah he was all over him...but this team needs to get the message...get your head in the game. We've had a couple of bad calls but almost all of these penalties have been dumb things like that...or running into the kicker...yeah the kicker might have played it up but Macalister easily could have avoided contact. As frustrating as our offensive line, dropped balls, fumble, tripping our own players has been...our offense is still better this year. I don't think that last years offense does as well as this one has tonight.

Morrison is not getting proper depth on his drops in the middle of the field, it's always vacant smh.

And as soon as I say that they score a TD right over the middle and he's barely out of his stance while the ball goes right by his head. Why isn't Anzalone starting in the middle? He's much more athletic and can actually cover.

Hated that series, way too conservative. Three straight runs with a chance to put the game away?

And the poor tackling and undisciplined play by the defense continues. They were doing the same things even when playing well and I was concerned because I knew at some point it would come back to bite us.

It's Grier. One way or the other. Grier is going to start unless he seriously screws it.

Also, as to the defense, what oozie hit on...this is what we heard about Collina from the day we hired him. Overly aggressive with little discipline.

Well we won so all in all a good night. You learn to appreciate wins after the last two years lol. Agree mostly with Michi. Slight disagreement though...Scarlett hasn't run that well so far. I think it's Cronkrite followed by Taylor on the depth chart. I'm a big fan of Scarlett though.

And agree on the Grier-Harris thing. I've said it twice already but it's obvious they want Grier to be the guy, so they just need to stop wasting everybody's time with this rotation, especially when it's this uneven. They're not helping the offense with it at all. We can win with Treon, and I think that last TD drive showed that. He dropped two beautiful balls in there when we were backed up and then had the big scramble. But we are way too run heavy when he's in the game and our line really isn't good enough to make that work so idk why we continue to call the game that way when he's in.

In truth though we should really be concerned about both behind this oline. And I think both came back down to earth after the first week. We need to pick one and ditch the rotation but this game kinda confirmed to me what I've been thinking all along, both will start multiple games when it's all said and done.

I think 7-5 is all we can get to this year and we might as well go with Grier even though I think he is going to get pounded very bad from the Tenn game on. I wonder how we will even move the ball against LSU and Ole Miss.

We were 4/13 on 3rd down, 12 penalties, and 2 missed field goals inside the 20. We shot ourselves in the foot tonight a LOT. If we play like this next week then we lose. I hope these kids get their heads in the game.

Reading the post game interview UF got this win with NO discipline whatsoever and Mac said there was none at practice all week last week. He said he knew how it was going to be all week whenever the players didn't not come out to practice Monday with their ankled taped up...You got to have discipline and if you don't have that playing football is worthless.
