He was a polished speaker/politician. Like Biden said, he was "the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean".
I had a problem with his fundamental transformation plan.

I do believe that a majority of the lower level people are good people. My guess is he cleans house at the top.
I also wouldn't be shocked to see him eliminate some federal agencies.
He will install the right people at the top of each organization and let them do the reforming. I am positive he has these people identified already.
Most importantly we have to FIRE leadership in these agencies. They are not fair people. This will take his full term to accomplish this

Not gonna lie.... I've been a reluctant Trumper up until about 6 months ago. So happy that he won and I was proud to vote for him as I did back in 2020. Here's an interesting post by Brian Stelter I picked up on X:
