So Cook was charged with hitting the woman? Suspended indefinitely until he is cleared. My understanding its under investigation.
Sorry, meant Johnson. FSU has so many athletes charged with assault against women, it is hard to keep the names straight.
Yet remains only "suspended" from team activities. After several run ins against the authorities while at FSU. Two of which he was cited.
But....cue the response of "Hey, the first should not matter. It was only violence against animals!" defense.
The point is knuckle dragger, no one knows what any of the witnesses said because none of the statements have been made public. Someone could have said he is lying, someone could have said she did say it. We don't know yet.
Except for what Johnson said. He said she used a racial slur agfaainst him. As far as I know, she denies it. You obviously believe him. You also said she physically instigated the episode. But his according to his lawyer that is not true. I can't remember if it was you or another Nole sycophant, but initially one of you also even said what he did was self defense

Technically it was oozie who first brought it up. I simply supported him, by asking if there was a double standard in place and further at what point would it be considered self defense. It was either SK or 29 who used the word retaliation, which, I've used since because it more accurately describes what transpired. No one in their right mind would think DJ was ever in any danger.

Couple of problems with Oozie's line of thinking are 1. the "knee to the midsection" occurred after Johnson had grabbed her right arm and held it against her chest and 2. was a threat of physical harm expressed or implied with the raised fist and would she have the ability to inflict that harm.

Actually, it was an incorrect use of the term self defense. Retaliation was the appropriate term. I apologize if you missed that correction pages ago...after all, there are thousands of posts on this topic now.
I never changed my mind. I simply supported oozie's question about equal treatment under the law and if a man was entitled to self defense. However, it was later clarified by a Nole that the correct term is retaliation not self defense. I agreed.
