It appears the Dwag fans are not happy campers about it.
Just thoroughly wash and rinse the Dwag stench off Jalen Kimber and we're good.
They must be upset to lose the 3 tackles he has had in two seasons
He was possibly gonna start and then got hurt (shoulder), then a 5* true freshman stepped in to his spot so they have the CB position locked up for two years and have a ton of other young guys vying for the other spot.
He’s good if he can get healthy. He will likely start for us. Corey Raymond was all over this one. He was slotted to start at UGA next year.
In fairness the UGA secondary was hands down their weakest unit on either side

Jalen is a good kid, but he was not slotted to start no where in Georgia's secondary. Kid needs some work and gain some weight. There's always open competition at UGA and you have to earn it, not "slotted". With the talent that we have and the one's coming in, the writing was on the wall for Jalen. Best of luck to him except on Halloween.
Yes he was a highly ranked player out of high school. UF actually recruited him really hard when he was a high school prospect. Hopefully he can get healthy.
He just needs to stay healthy and he should be fine.
Typical Dawg response during recruiting: We have so many top talented kids, we won't miss one.
Dawg complaint during the year: We had some guys hurt and the backups just aren't as good.

Gonna be tough with 4 roster starters ahead of him, and now Pouncey back healthy.
~~ Hill, Pouncey, and Kimber are all returning from 2021 injuries, so questions remain.
And with the quality depth at safety, they could add a couple more to the CB room if needed.
Our last two DB recruiting classes were good. Nobody at UGA thinks that our backups aren't good. They're good, they just lack experience. We had to dip in the Transfer Portal because of our inexperienced DB's and get Tykee Smith and Derion Kendrick. It would've been tough for Jalen to beat out either one of those guys and if you can't stay healthy, then your chances of playing time decrease. The DB's we have coming in this class are on paper better than we've had in a long time and I honestly think that Jalen believes that he would see the field quicker at Florida than at UGA. We also picked up Brandon Turnage in the portal last year and he transferred out when Derion came aboard.
He's a really good get for the Gators. Talented player. Despite what's been said by some, he would have been a starter this year for the Dawgs had he been healthy. As a UGA fan, I hate losing him. I think he's going to be really good and your secondary gets better. Wish he were still with UGA. From what I heard, he did everything asked of him. Just needed a change of scenery. Napier's doing a good job.

Lived amongst Gator fans in Jacksonville for 20 years. Now I live among Bama and Auburn fans in Huntsville, AL. Learned to live with with rivals. I mean what I said about Kimber. He was skinny when he got to UGA but has put on good weight. He'll be a stud.

I assume you're pretty close to Guntersville Lake. Great area. I love Huntsville. Much different than most of Alabama. My least favorite fan base/team - Tennessee. I'm a Pastor actually but have many friends at Redstone Arsenal.

Yes, this is recruiting season, so that's what you say. But in 2020, when we threw the ball all over you and made your defense look silly, all we heard was how you had some guys hurt and the backups weren't as good. So, yeah, it's like that.
Yea I have no idea how he wasn't starting on UGA. He will be a top 20 pick.
Taylor was a beast in college and the pros...most unappreciated guy in the pros.
I guess it's more scheme than anything, Jermaine Johnson fit our defense better than he did UGAs (4-3 DE with hand in the dirt). I wouldn't have traded JJ for Anderson simply based on the scheme we run and the types of players they are.
