Has their ever been 3 SEC teams in Great 8? Congrats Big Blue nation, Gators, and Gamecocks!!!
Congrats guys. This is a tournament for the ages. I just hate 2 Sec teams have to play each other.
Interestingly, it was the 1986 tourney, where LSU, Alabama, and Kentucky were all placed in the same bracket, and LSU beat Alabama in the 16 and lost to UK in the 8, that caused an uproar about regional seeding and pushed the NCAA to start splitting teams from the same conference into different brackets. And STILL we have SEC teams having to play each other. Well, we put 5 teams in the tourney, I suppose two teams HAD to be in the same bracket.
