I don't see how the ACC will survive as a meaningful conference with the loss of FSU and Clemson. Even more interesting in this article is the state of the athletic department at North Carolina. They are expected to have a deficit of $17 million this year.
I don't think the addition of Cal, Stanford and SMU is going to help the ACC financially.
And then there is the lawsuit NCAA v House that could potentially costs schools and conferences BILLIONS of dollars. I don't understand the nuances of the lawsuit and potential ramifications but below is a summary also from CBS Sports.
