So after stepping away from the keyboard for a little I decided to do some research for those who are critics of our coaching staff. One of the major criticisms of Muschamp was how predictable we were on offense. Furthermore, he had a tendency to limit our play calling whenever a particular qb went down (e.g., see UGA last year, Morninwhig versus USC, etc.)
One thing this staff attempts to do is remain balanced and unpredictable. It does not always reflect in the statistics (yardage specifically), but this staff will pass the ball regardless of whether its Grier or Treon.
Since Treon has taken over he has attempted 32 (LSU), 19 (UGA), 26 (Vandy), 33 (USCe), 17 (FAU) and 39 (FSU). Obviously the numbers were really skewed with FSU given that we were down and had to pass more. Against LSU we averaged over 8 yards per attempt and 15 per completion. FSU we averaged just over 3 per attempt. Here is where Treon should take the blame however:

- Despite some shaky passing performances in some games to begin the season, we were still efficient. Our lowest completion percentage was 53% against Tennessee. Grier then completed 83% of passes against Ole Miss and 61% against Mizzou, taking what the defense gave him underneath.
- Treon's best performance in games he started exclusively came against LSU in which he passed for 271, but only completed 53% and USC where he completed 58%.
- 4 out of 6 games that TH has started exclusively, he completed 50% or less of his passes.
