I believe Coach Spurrier was going to retire after this year, that being said, I believe Coach Spurrier moved his retirement date up to deflect attention from the Gators and Will Grier by becoming the #1 story of the day. I would expect he will also become a player of some type in future Gator football fund raising, et al. Just my opinion so don't throw me against the wall. You always come home to your Alma Mater.
