Coach O to Florida?

I doubt that happens but hopefully a new DC will be here soon and I am sure he will replace some of the position coaches.

Orgeron -- Zook -- Quinn???

The long list of total clueless fools that have hired Grantham over the last 3 decades needs to end. He's already a multi-millionaire from coaching, so going into retirement now certainly won't hurt him financially....

Personally, I'm hoping to resurrect bacca-chewin'/spittin'' Micky Andrews career (80).
He was Pell's DC back in the day before getting the ax and going over to FSUcks....

Not sure what you are saying here. Mickey Andrews must be 80 himself. 😂
I'm just happy you are finally stopping backing the former failed POS GA bulldogs DC. That alone should leave a bad taste in your mouth, much less him pissing in his bed in BHG Stadium the past couple of years. :( Nothing that EVER passed through Athens. GA is acceptable in TitleTown, Florida.

He was not a DC at Florida. Andrew's served as the DB coach at UF before a stint in the USFL as a DC. As soon as the league folded, he then went to FSU.
UF was one of the most, if not the most penalized team in the nation when it came to personal fouls while frog eyes Mickey Andrews coached the secondary at UF.

Not sure why you have Dan Quinn along with Zook and Orgeron, but Quinn is one of the reasons the Dallas Cowboys are one of the NFL's hottest teams right now.

If I'm not mistaken he was defensive back coach under Pell. Reminder when Tony Lilly single handedly got a sure win against USC turned into a tie for 2 late hits when totally unneeded to prevent a win when USC "used to be" a big deal on the national scene. That being said, he wasn't a totally bad guy. My youngest brother's GF was a female trainer during Blobby's reign. She told Mickey one of the inmates was harassing her. Mickey took him aside and told him if the state penal system didn't have an issue with him, he would put a bullet between his eyes. Respect earned here. Hard to hate him after I learned that.

Did they use inmates to do some of the work at UF back then? Pell is the first coach I remember from when I started following the Gators as a kid. I will never forget how pissed my dad was that first year we didn't win a game.

Urbs needs to do one of the following:

1) To get divorced
2) To be faithful
3) To hire professionals

Unless he has an open marriage. Who knows?

On defense, the Gators are averaging 11.7 missed tackles per game this season, per Pro Football Focus. Florida has also failed to create turnovers throughout the year, tallying only 6 through 7 games.

It seems to me that there is a whole lot of wasted scholarship money being throw away.
~ Does anyone here think that the recruits come to UF, never having been coached on how to somethig as simple as make a tackle, or force T-O's?
~ Does anyone here think that the current Gator coaches have not coached those techniques since day-1?
>>> At what point do we put the blame where it belongs, accountability for player performance in games?

The defense has under performers for sure.
The offense also has under performers.
EJ 67.6% with 10 TD's, 9 Ints -- AR 56.8% with 5 TD's, 3 Ints
Combined 15 TD's to 12 Ints. That stinks on ice Mr. Whisperer...
And by gawd, if they can't get it done, then rotate in Whittemore/Wilson/Kitna.
It's not like UF has never played or started a Fr QB in the past.

Anyone claiming that it's all the coaches fault and that the players bear no blame is FoS IMHOH.... So, am I saying that the coaches bear no blame? Nope, that's not it at all.

What I blame the HC/coaches for, is not rotating those that are under preforming, replacing them with those that show more skills or at least more effort. It's long past the time for the stick/carrot technique to happen.
Accountability seems to be lacking across the board and team wide,,, (where inconsistency is born).

When a player jumps off sides, (O or D).
When a player commits a stupid penalty.
When a player drops a catch-able pass.
When a player can't get the snap count down or complete the snap.
When a player throws a stupid Int into double or triple coverage.
When a player has a lost possession fumble.
When a player misses a tackle or a block, etc.
When they are rotated out, immediately coach-um up on the sideline for their eventual return.

That is a good part of what a player rotation is for. Rotate in the next guy and keep him there until he shows that he needs to come out for the next guy up to get a chance. The time to coddle the delicate personalities is over, and it needs to end now, cause if they can't handle some coaching criticism, then they need to transfer out to a low stress HoDunk-U where things don't matter so much.

A new coach never fixes a problem that rests with the players not doing what the coaches are coaching in practice every day. Forcing player accountability with reduced playing time might.
What's needed now it MORE player rotations, not less....

And at season's end, pulling ships should go right along with firing coaches.
Instead of worrying about players leaving through the portal, invite or force the incompetent players into the portal to get rid of them. The time for NICE has ended. It's time for the players to understand that the portal works in both direction and to the benefit of both the players and the teams. Enter the portal on me and I'd pull your ship in a NY second... And to those xfers coming in, you can be a Greenard or a Blades, depending on you.

And hire a Zookster quality ST's coach for gawd's sake...
Pull out film of Brandon James returns and have the returners watch it until their eyes bleed...
Get rid of all those on ST's that just 'want' to be there, and replace them with those that 'need' to be there.

That would just be an 'open partnership,' not a 'forsaking all others' marriage imoho...
