Not sure what to think of LSU right now. I know that RB will be back against us but both of their lines looked nothing like LSU lines usually do after watching that Troy game. The secondary was the only thing that looked decent for LSU in that game.

This will be the battle of two teams that are a name and not much else. Troy may be a better team than either of us.

LSU is really not a good football team. The name is only just that. They are not only still bad on offense, but they are now getting pushed around on defense. UF wins with or without Cleveland.

I hope Cleveland doesn't miss the LSU game. I didn't see it but I guess he missed action near the end after twisting an ankle or something.

89. Tyrie Cleveland 6-2 205 So - **** UA-AA
HS Sr - 46 for 982 yds, 21.3 Yds/rec, 14 TD's. - Houston, TX

I also expected to see one or both of the Nordman Twins, at least a little bit?
One of them (Tucker?) caught the Toney TD pass in the Spring game, remember?
WR/QB Tucker 6-1 190 rsSo
WR Charles 6-0 194 rsSo

Well, with some guys back and after an embarrassment, we always seem like the perfect remedy to catch teams coming on the road with the us against the world attitude.. and LSU has always played better on the road over the years, at least under Miles they always did...

Why the **** are you talking about high school stats?

I actually finally paid attention to some HS Stats, Corral had like 500 yards passing and 5-6 TDs on Friday lol...

Cleveland has ended up showing he's a pretty damn tough kid..

That sounded like exactly something Mac would say, oh no..

I was just waiting on us to win with a walk off 62 yard FG after half time yesterday and have to hear him call it neat again...

Was I the only one REALLY pissed off that the ESPN wonk said Pinero couldn't kick the FG because he obviously didn't have the range? I realize the first one was bad, but they were rushing to beat the play clock (that is another issue that we couldn't get a FG kicker on the field in time to set up a kick) and he hurried the kick. I SO wanted Mac to kick it again anyway and have it go through the uprights with 10 yards to spare.

Only way he wouldn't have had the leg was the weather, otherwise he would have smashed it even if he missed it with plenty of legs...

Cleveland is in a boot. He's out this weekend. Hopefully be back in time for UGA.

HS stats never matter. o_O
So neither do the recruit rankings that are based on HS stats.
They are also never good for any comparisons from HS to College.
(see Stephens & M.Davis for the most recent examples)

What I wonder, is why anyone would ever pay any attention at all to what any kid does in HS, (since it is useless) or what any recruits ranking is, because those are also useless? (right Liz?) ;)

Jerkers and their board suck-ups being what they are, and without any HS fan stats used in that iG evaluation...

The football genius types posting here really hate it when a dumb-old arm-chair idiot nobody like me posts ridiculous stuff, (showing them up for exactly what they really are), so snivel on buttheads, I need the belly-laughs to make my day... :D

Somebody else is gonna have to catch this week's Hail Mary.

We do have quality and quantity at WR. Losing the Top 2 obviously hurts, but it just gives one of the other guys a chance to step up. Hopefully a couple of them will. To me, it's still about the O-line. They play well, the playmakers will have success. If they don't block, it won't matter much how good the skill guys are or even who they are. The way Troy's O-line pushed LSU's defense around, there's no excuse for us not having success this weekend.
