Kelly might be a good coach but he's a dumbass at picking jobs. Left an Oregon team poised to make a couple title runs to take over a 4-win Eagles team. Then after leaving there goes to a 49er team with a GM on the hot seat and no job. And now he's gonna go work for a coach that's already been fired and another GM that's on the hot seat. And Bortles is awful. Wtf is wrong with him?

In fairness to Kelly, plenty of good college coaches have left behind good college situations for bad pro situations. Spurrier and Saban come to mind. If the NFL team was good they probably wouldn’t have fired their coach. And the Jaguars are looking like a pretty good young team. 49ers job was a bad decision. As far as attractive college jobs, who knows how UCLA and UF will be perceived in 3-4 years?

I was responding to the whole thing, the gist being that he makes bad decisions. If we don’t do a better job with this hire, it’s not going to look so clear cut in a couple years that UF aid a better job than UCLA.
