Charlotte transfer QB Deshawn Purdie asked to be released from his transfer signing. Rumor has it that another SEC school has been making a heavy push for him after the departure of Beck and Rashada. Purdie was supposed to move in last Thursday. Florida knew what was going on with another school trying to sway him. The portal was/is closed, and you can't go SEC to SEC without sitting out - do not expect UF to release him.
