They are #2, with Utah and Oklahoma potentially being 1 loss conference champions. If Uga beats LSU, do the Tigers fall out of the top 4? If they were #1, maybe they slide into #4, but from #2 I doubt it. With the Bama loss, I really don't see the SEC getting 2 schools in the CFP.

IMO, winner next week gets the CFP, loser gets the Sugar, Florida hopefully gets the Orange. Bama is a better school for the Cotton anyway. Closer.

Unless they get blown out, I think LSU is in

Should they win they should be number 1 and play OU/Utah/whoever

LSU likely slips to 2 in large part because Texas went 7-5

Clemson a likely much tougher first opponent

if 1980 wins, LSU and Georgia likely 4 and 3 respectively

All hell breaks loose if Wisconsin, Baylor, Virginia, Oregon win

If it's by 10 or less I think they stay in the top 4. They have a really damn good resume and their only loss would be to the 4th ranked team who also has a good resume. Now if Georgia blows them out then they wont get in but that will not happen. Burrows is the best player in the nation right now.

Doesn’t matter, bc they’re rolling up ago like a dirty carpet. The only question is whether uga can whine their way into it, which shouldn’t be possible. There will be several teams with similar records and they’ve got the worst loss of any of them... including us, tbh

Doubt they're in no matter what. Y'all forget they got other commissioners on that panel and they're not trying to have two teams from one conference. Especially after 2017 when that happened and everybody was outraged. They should get in regardless based on their resume but that doesn't mean they will.

Too many quality wins.they get in no matter what

All I'm saying is, they would be a one loss team that isn't a conference champion, AND coming off a loss, and there could be multiple one-loss conference champions against them. They aren't considered head and shoulders better than everybody, after all. If they were, they'd be #1 not #2.

People forget that the year Bama got in they had 1 loss and were competing against conference champs with 2 losses. If OU and Utah win out this year LSU won't have that advantage.

I don't agree with it but due to their wins I think LSU would be in even if GA upsets them.

That Bama talk before they lost again was nuts however.

If they lose, they shouldnt be in. Its a playoff game for them
