Out of respect play Kyle Trask the first series. Then give him the Manvel salute and play him the 3rd and 7th series and let Emory be the guy. Possibly even let Richardson take a few snaps and play what is usually the Emory role.

Let Kyle have a small draft showcase and then protect his health for the draft. Let Jones and ARich gain valuable experience. It will go a long ways.

I’m betting alot of guys will opt out of the bowl game. I guess we will see.

Emory has been here 3 years. He will he ready come fall.

I'm looking forward to Jones. He will be the first QB with the proper skill set to run the Mullen offense since he came to UF. I love Trask, but he needed Toney, Pitts and Grimes this year because he needed guys getting open right away, he struggles with throwing under duress and can't really throw on the move.

Depending on the opponent this will be a tough game to win, because I also expect many opt outs, and I have no issue with that, it’s been a tough year physically and more so, mentally.
to anyone who opts out, thank you for making Gator nation proud of your grit during extreme circumstances!

Heading forward it seems difficult to see anyone other than GA challenging in the East right now

We are in a better place for sure

Never know how the ball bounces but Gators are likely a play or two going a direction or two from either winning the SEC or not next year

Late errors cost TXAM and LSU, early errors hurt with AL

Play to win, practice hard, look forward to 21

Play your best players to win the game. Pitts has already opted out and there probably will be more, so some of the younger guys will get their chance anyway.

I have concerns about Emory after watching that game. He seems to decide pre-snap whether he is running or passing, and if he is passing, he's not running. I never saw a guy with that much mobility be such a statue in the pocket.

Richardson, though, intrigued me. He seemed to have a presence on the field. He scrambled out of the pocket for big yards. Yes, it was garbage time. Yes, it was against OU backups. Nevertheless, Mullen needs to give him every chance to win the job. As I think we will be stuck with Grantham another year, if we are scoring 24 points a game (which is what I think a Jones offense will average), we are going to lose a lot of games.

What I would REALLY like to see is us offer the OU DC a 500K raise to come to Gville. They played like a team on defense. I would like for us to do the same; it would be a nice change from the "chicken with its head cut off" method we are using now. But I think COVID will be the Grantham excuse.

I do think Richardson looked better in what limited action we saw.

I think what is wrong with Emory is he has had a career where he was given a job to one specific thing and that thing only. He went in for a particular play just to run the ball...or he would go into the game to fake a run and pass and that pass was designed for one particular player or two. In games he has never been given the full playbook. It will be an interesting spring.

I don't disagree, but for me, I will say the same thing I always say. I don't give a crap who plays and who sits at any position. Just win. So if Emory find a gear we haven't seen, fantastic. If it's Richardson, fantastic. Just win.
