I have to say, pretty solid slate of games today. A lot of interesting matchups. USC jr has screwed itself literally every time they’ve touched the ball. They should probably just punt on first down and hope for the best. Be interesting to see if UCF can hang with Auburn as well.

update: The tweet was deleted.

It basically said the Michigan and Mizzou were the only two teams to have a winning record that did not beat a team with a winning record.

UCF!!!!! Great game and the Knights' defense played better than they have all year. I like Auburn and normally pull for the SEC (except Georgia & Saban), but our son is a UCF alum and this was a special team in Orlando. Congrats on going 13-0.

Like I posted in he other thread, his offense is just too complicated. It’s like one play out of four goes exactly right and he gets a guy wide open, but so much has to go right for it to happen. The 4th and 10 call was ridiculous. His defense was pretty much dominating. And how many plays had they run to get 10 yards all game?

UGA’s hipster kicker just put them in a bad spot. If UGA doesn’t start slowing them down they’re not going to be able to keep up.

Oklahoma is about to put it out of reach with a TD here.

UGA needs to force a FG.

Don’t see any possible way they come back from a 31-14 deficit.

What an incredible burst off the ball for the UGA DL after taking those two time outs.

They stop the end around to bring up 3rd down.

Critical moment here.

Omalahoma gets the ball back after the half.

Lol and here’s the reverse sweep TD to a wide open Baker Mayfield in he endzone.

31-14 going into the half and Oklahoma gets the ball after the half. Could get ugly for UGA.

Yes, we were lousy this year.
Yes, I would love for Gators to be playing in a bowl.
Yes, jOja was better this year and is still playing in a playoff.

But.

Mutts down by ten, making a tackle, and talking all sorts of smack to OU players in spite of allowing over 300 yards...at the half. Pulling the stunts of extra smacking of OU players when they get up.

Then, a fancy TD by OU to likely go up 17 at the half with getting the ball to start the third.

Typical thug punk Georgia behavior.

Stunning squib kick there. Just kick it deep and out of bounds, ball at the 35 and half with no risk.

If thugs get points here OU gets what they deserve.

OU brain fart gives mutts three for nothing. Frustrating to see million dollar coaches do things so stupid.

Massive three points there. But...would still rather be up 14.

I get the logic in the squib, but with zero timeouts and an UGA kicker that has never (before just now) made a FG over 50 yards. That’s an odd choice.

Still 31-17 with OU getting the ball back is damned near a death sentence for UGA unless things really start going right for them.

Best case scenario would be outscoring them 14-7 in the third and have a hope to outdo them again in the 4th.

I just don’t see that being likely.

Well UGA stopped them AND got good field position.

This is a must score a TD drive for UGA.

Let me say it again fellas Sony Michel is ridiculous are he and Chubb both back next year

Lol I don’t even understand what UGA is doing this half.

It’s absurd.

I guess Kirby remembered to talk to his defense at the half.

Since the squib kick UGA has dominated.

Helped by that late hit in Mayfield.

They are excitable, so when it works it works. Play football and OU had it, play into them with mistakes and you give up the cheese.

UGA started blitzing. That is the adjustment they made. They were too conservative on defense in the first half.

No.

They blitzed early and Mayfield picked them apart.

Simply short brain freeze gave momentum to a team that is all about momentum.

Referees, by the way, have been very good. Have not been watching for missed holds but overall they seem to have handled this game very well so far.

No OU turtled up. Mayfield had 4 pass attempts in the third quarter. They stopped running tempo and abandoned the passing game, even started subbing which gave UGA time to make subs and match personnel. Trying to kill clock like they have a defense worth a damn they can rely on. Stupid.

Go tempo and attack down field and sure enough they score with no problem like they did the entire first half. Terrible, conservative strategy to start the half let UGA back in the game.

Hurts to say this but very impressed with jake Fromm don’t think fields sees the field for a couple years

Yep.

In a way makes me miss Miami defenses from years past, recent Alabama defenses and even mid 2000s Gator defenses. These are strong offenses but 2008 OU was strong offensive as well.

As I type, OU defense scores.

Mutts, got that lead and thought game was over. Like when they celebrated their first game with Auburn after they went up early in the first. Play ball kids.
