I got vaxxed and got the variant and so did my daughter. I got a call just now and my sister in law has the variant too and she’s vaxxed. She just feels tired and has cold symptoms, but my nephew is not vaxxed and has it. His wife got vaxxed and is okay.

At least one of those posts was him lamenting that he and his nurses had too many patients to treat and not enough time to do it.
If he was telling the truth about that, why did he spend all day here yesterday? And this is just one site, for all we know he was doing the same thing at the same time on 10 other sites.
And he did this while claiming that patients are dying in MS cause he doesn't have enough time to see them.

It would be interesting if you could do a political comparison of who seeks treatment for Covid especially at the non-senior citizen ages. I know lefties that have ran to the ER with nothing more than the most basic cold symptoms. These are people with no bad medical issues. I would say my conservative friends except a few females are more like me and wouldn't go unless they thought it was a true emergency.
I have no idea what job he does but I think we can all see clearly that he puts his ego before it.
And we know hospitals benefit monetarily from admitting patients as being covid patients. Dr Birx encouraged this as early as April 2020.
I presume he isn’t on duty 24/7 and that he’s not the only MD in the ICU. And that once admitted there are nurses, PA’s, etc. who follow the Dr’s orders.

If he's telling the truth, then he is literally making the problem he is complaining about worse.
Here's an analogy: Let's say a commercial airliner requires 2 pilots manning it at all times to stay in the air. It's so important that each flight is required to have a 3rd pilot on board as a backup if something happens to one of the primaries.
Well we are all on a flight and @gator1776 is the #2 pilot. During the middle of the flight, the backup pilot gets sick and faints. No problem, because the plane still has two pilots.
But instead of doing his job and flying the plane, @gator1776 decides to come to this board and post about the fact that the backup pilot passed out. Then he starts to post about how his flight only has 1 pilot and can't keep the plane in the air.
@goldmom and @Uniformed_ReRe are on the plane. They both say they once saw a movie about this, and wish backup pilots would take better care of themselves so this wouldn't happen. They thank @gator1776 for keeping them updated.
The sane posters point out that if @gator1776 would put his damn phone down and do his job, this problem goes away.

Yep they are making a killing with their actions. They should have never gave certain financial incentives regarding Covid. The craziest one was how much extra they get for a ventilator Covid patient (meaning death usually). Makes me wonder if that was one reason so many doctors were refusing to try Hydroxychloroquine early on even though the doctors using it were getting good results - besides Trump bringing it up. Our medical system is so crooked the hospitals probably pushed CDC nonsense on them knowing the likely outcome.

It doesn’t matter how busy a hospital is. The staff still must take breaks and get a good night’s rest. Otherwise, they will get sick or burned out.

Don't know anything about this situation now but around when Covid started a nurse at a local hospital here said they were lying about how crowded they were and that the ICU's were usually at about that capacity. She would never say anything publicly I think as she knew she would be fired if she did.
Too early to have significant data but yeah the younger ones are dying this time too. We lost one yesterday that was 52 and I’ve got one is 36 and one that’s 23 they both look pretty bad right now. But I don’t think we have definitive numbers yet because the ones that were getting Sick two weeks ago or the ones that are starting to die now.
Explain them refusing to give their high risk patients Hydroxychloroquine early on after it was pushed by the doctors that had great success with high risk patients on it? You think it was just Trump mentioned it and I hate him so I won't consider it?
We did use hydroxychloroquine in the first month, didn’t seem to help. Dexamethasone does the same thing hydroxychloroquine does only it does it better so we switched to that. That is all
