Auburn @ Florida

And Mullen keeps trotting him out there watching him just fumble the game away. F*cking ridiculous. He’s responsible for 13 of their points and it’s likely gonna be more.

I gladly admit to being wrong about my predication of an Auburn win. Our O-line was bad, just as I said, but our defense was spectacular. And it helped that their QB is a freshman, couldn't handle the hostile crowd and stress of the game and played awful. Trask, like some have said, doesn't have pocket presence, fumbles to easily and can;r run a lick. But he made a bunch of good throws. We're 6-0 and will head to Baton Rouge for a prime time showdown next week. Just wish we could play turnover free.

Which is probably why, even with all of Franks' flaws, he was the starter. But Trask hadn't played in forever. The hope is he will get there.

LSU next, hoping their D front isn't as good. I know their QB is better. We will need more points.

Auburn and UF probably have the best DL's in the SEC. Agree, Burrows is a beast along with their secondary and WR's.

The offensive line was not bad at all. Trask regularly got given enough time to pump multiple times in the pocket and would just hold the ball forever. Even the first strip sack was on him because he was completely oblivious to the blitzing defender off the slot and had his head turned the other way when it’s his hot read. That’s why Mullen got on him when he came off the field and the announcers even diagrammed the play showing the open receiver in the slot unaccounted for. We ran for more yards than Auburn today too. The offensive line takes way too much blame. Trask badly needs to improve his pocket presence because it’s terrible.

I agree with some of this BUT without him and his passing abilities, we do not win this OR the other games. THIS is his 3rd game since HS and he is playing maybe the best defense we will face ALL year, so I will continue to cut him slack...for a while..

It’s not a troll, Sunshine. You guys should be pissed about it like we were. Mullen gave the green light under certain circumstances, Kirby called his. Both dumb as oozie said.

Dumb or not, your angle was more than transparent. And kissin' up to the locals does not diminish that...

i don’t mind giving him slack for mistakes because he is inexperienced. But when you’re making the same one over and over then you either aren’t learning or you’re stubborn. All three of his turnovers were the exact same. It was the same against Tennessee too and the same against Towson.

Credit to him for gutting it out but people are now seeing why Mullen didn’t play him before. Average athlete and really bad pocket presence and turns the ball over at an alarming rate. He’s already at 5 turnovers in 2 and a half games of starting. And two of those teams was 1-3 Tennessee and Towson.

Yep, I gotcha. He is INDEED a flawed athlete. I almost threw in the towel when Franks went down. With our Oline especially, he HAS to improve in the fumble department by learning to count internally. That will be on CDM to emphasize and practice.

No doubt we will not continue to be as fortunate as we were today if this continues.

If he DOES improve and maintains his overall good decision making and poise, we have a chance in ALL games, which I NEVER would have believed a few games back

Watch what you say around here because this board is generally infested with UGA fans the same way a steaming pile of shit is generally infested with UGA fans.

EVERYONE knows that the jortgia defense is the best there ever was and won the national defensive championship only 4 games into the season. They were bragging they could beat the New England patriots with their defense.

Gator fans suffer a win worse than any fan base in college football.

Perine - 69 for 338 yds, 4.7 ypc, 4 TD's, L-88 (5th longest TD run in UF history)
Rec - 18 for 92 yds, 5.17 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-14

Trask - 70 of 97, 72.2% for 881 yds, 7 TD's, 2 Ints, L-64, QBR 168.15
2 rushing TD's, L-8
BTW, Trask entered this game leading FBS in pass completion %.

Swain - 14, 20.0 yds/rec, 3 TD's, L-64
Pitts - 25, 10.16 yds/rec, 3 TD's, L-32
Jeffereson - 19, 13.58 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-69 yds
Grimes - 16 14.69 yds/rec, 0 TD, L-43 yds
Hammond - 16, 12.44 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-65
Cleveland - 12, 13.83 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-35
Toney - 3, 24.00 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-66 yds (has yet to play with Trask)
Copeland - 7, 9.57 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-21
Zipperer - 3, 10.33 yds/rec 1 TD, L-25
~ 5 more with 1-2 receptions.

E.Jones - 16 of 25, 64.0% for 124 yds, 1 TD, L-25
Rush - 9 for 78 yds, 8.7 ypc, 1 TD, L-29

The OL is currently 6-0, 3-0 SEC, but with lots of room to improve.
The LT struggles, the RT struggles even more....
Continue to coach up the younger guys and recruit tackles...

The Gators should get credit for 2 wins this week. o_O
One for beating the barners, and another for surviving the always CHITTY Alabama based, incompetent-biased, SEC's excuse for game officials....

>>> The entire defense gets a game ball!!! :)

You say a lot of shit, and virtually none of it is accurate. Turd on, though.

Defense gets the game ball, they are awesome...we have one of the best WR group in the country...Trask is a good decision maker and very accurate with the football...he needs to move around in the pocket better or run but is running the offense very well...he's a good passer and that's the game we're running. Happy for that kid. Great season...6-0 baby!
