I was in my late 30's when I realized the Swamp was BS. Voted for Nixon in my teens, Bush 1. Reagan, Bush 2. (Gore was a phucking lunatic psycho, even a tender younger age could figure that out). Bush was a milktoast disappointment, McCain was a sellout fake patriot, Romney was a globalist socialist POS........and then we had a REAL man of the people, Trump. The Zero years we never really had a choice. Sad, and accelerated the decline of the nation. If Trump doesn't run in 2024, I'm supporting Matt Gaetz.

I remember suffering through Peanut Carter's horrible economic reign, double digit inflation, mortgage rates, fortunately I landed a job right after graduation and only had to suffer long gas lines and hostage like prices. It was also a grand time, legal qualudes, fast women and a little blow. Life in the fast lane, sure to make you lose your mind. Regardless, always, always hated commies and never voted for Dims. Life was good, and just got better. I still say prayers and give thanks for living a blessed and charmed life.

For me it was 14, when Reagan was first running for President and I realized what a POS he would be as President (and he so was. Iran-Contra? Ketchup as a vegetable? Hated that guy.). I also wanted nothing to do with Carter, he hadn't shown me anything. I was on board with Anderson. That's when I learned that in this country voting for the third party (which I did not, being only 14) is the same as not voting at all.

Did not vote for Trump in 2016. Liked his plan but thought we had 1 chance to drain the swamp and thought Trump's 'bed side manner', no matter how appropriate, would result in a full out assault by the establishment and result in the destruction of the movement forever.

only differ with you in that I believe the establishment will attempt to destroy anti-establishment movements no matter the bedside manner, they will just use differing means. I was thankful to finally have a President in my lifetime who called them out, and fought for the people. It will probably never happen again with weaponized media and social media being very powerful tools to overcome as we witnessed the last 4 years.

Do you have any idea how many great companies/family businesses that still exist today were founded in 79,80,81. Either they were founded just before or just entering into Reagenomics.
