And the sad thing is...it really isn't that upsetting...

opinions are a large part of being a football follower....I think the NFL guys will agree with me. There will be two FSU players taken in the draft from the DL well ahead of any of Florida's current DL players...injury or no injury
We shall see

You guys HAVE to stop getting emotional when we get a few bounces and win. This staff is NOT taking us anywhere. We got outcoached by Jimbo and staff who are very mediocre with an average team. We do not recruit or coach anywhere near where we have to be to be an elite team. Period.

that second to last TD....Jimbo immediately found the matchup he wanted and DF hit him. That number 13 for you all is bad as a linebacker. Constantly out of position. Constantly bit on the counters. I think Cook got 3/4 of his yards with him in the game on counters he bit on and got washed out. He got bullied by a WR on several occasions. He was bad as a LB. But as a safety...wow. That was an easy 6. That is one example of a guy who should not even be on the field. Might as well have lined up 10 men.

I feel the same way, Sad. Just apathetic while we wait for the inevitable and eventual coaching change. Mac can't recruit at all, he also can't seem to scheme an offense or hire a staff (don't forget neither Rumph or Gray were his first choices). It seems that the only thing he does well as a coach is push for infrastructure, so maybe his future is as an AD?

I agree. But he is all we had left, given two starters are out with injuries. As an aside, he was the one whining that had he signed somewhere besides Florida, he could have had a better career. As it is, he subs for two freshmen.

I'll agree at DT, Brantley is a beast. But FSU is substantially better at DE.
Demarcus Christmas is only a So. He has really stepped up this year. As the year rolled on, he is creating problems on the interior, really opening things up for Walker and Burns, among others. He might not be at the level of Brantley yet, but they are similar style players....Christmas has at least another year.

I think the bottom line is our glitter fags put more effort into the game than your $ Down guys did. The Heisman Nissan commercial was epic though.

I would approve of firing Mac if it meant we got rid of those $ down fools. They are an embarrassment. In seriousness, you see silly crap like that and you watch Mac's weepy post game interviews, and I think it gives you some idea as to why his recruiting classes struggle.

Is everyone clueless about the recruiting classes so far, or what they have coming in already for 2017? While not $Bama$ recruiting, it's not chopped liver either. B-2-B SECe-C is not nothing you twits, given the circumstances... o_O

Just curious how many UF starters were sitting undressed on the sidelines or were not even at the game Saturday night? Does anybody know this?

If memory serves, 11 starters were out the week before, S Washington and another went out vs LSU, 1-2 might have come back to play at FSU.
More than 10, but probably less than a dozen,,, but jus-damn on the injuries...

Several that did play were definitely not at 100%, but gutted it out anyway.

I took this loss as well as any FSU loss. That game went almost exactly as many Gator fans thought it would go.

I will go on record now and say that I will expect a win against FSU next year in the Swamp or I will be very disappointed. We'll see if we improve.

Who knows? But we have a lot of ground to make up at quarterback between now and then.

@sadgator an asshat as a HBC certainly makes it more interesting. Even in a loss, Harbaugh has OSU panties all in a wad this AM.

because he got money bagged by the biggest baggers in the game, Bama baggers of the north east... The buckeye baggers came in and claimed lost baggage just in the nick saban of time

Wasn't too long ago that we had won 6 out of 7. The talent is an issue, no doubt, but the coaching is an even bigger issue. Jimbo schooled our staff last night. But again, these things can change quickly.
Yes, in 2010 it did change quickly. I liked it.

LSU can be beaten scoring 16 points.....but it takes more against FSU.

Something is badly wrong with the scheme to go 10 consecutive quarters against the Noles without an offensive TD.

That indicates that it is not a play or two...it is having difficulty matching up with their defense (and not a world beater defense at that).

The lack of protection, the empty backfields, the 0-12 on 3rd downs vs their 11-17, having 56 yards rushing vs their 249...all spelled loss.

The Noles stopped the run, and then rushed the crap out of an unprotected QB. There was no effective play action passing, nothing there to make them respect the run.

It is coaching...the offensive scheming needs to be revised.

LB for sure. Our DL has improved a lot over the course of the season.
When we started playing Man and got aggressive with blitz packages things started to change for the better. Clemson # 2 at the time beat us because we went to a prevent in the remaining minutes which gave up a walk in pass TD - They won by 3 only because their D was better and stalled our last attempt. I think the Noles are better than anyone would like to think-they were just not coached correctly and were very raw on the OL until these last 5 games. Maybe not world beaters but good enough to beat two SEC teams ranked.
Jimbo is on the right track.

Scarlett was a huge liability this game for you. He missed several easy blitz pick ups that led to FSU defensive sacks, etc. Wasn't all on the play calls or OL.

Does any Gator fan really G-a-S what any of the Clown-U, Deion Rule, criminoles think or say about the Gator team or coaches? I sure don't, but I guess when their only outlet is their own snor-rant board, then coming here to post is the high point in their otherwise chitty day...
