Alright gators….ou/texas

Didn't Spurrier just decide to quit and go play golf like 3 games into his final South Carolina season? I think that's what he was talking about.
It was the Lamecocks......... nobody cares. ;) South Carolina will become south carolina again and take their spot assigned next to Vandy as the most irrelevant programs in the SEC. Somebody's gotta be a doormat. Muschamp might be available........oh wait.........that's been tried.

UF has won 2 Football NC's in the last 15 years while playing in the SEC.
Tex-azz has won ZERO Football NC's in the last 15 years.
Choke-la-homo has won ZERO Football NC's in the last 20 years.
Your bloated and inflated W/L record playing around in your dead chump conference doesn't impress SEC fans.
(but they still have their ancient has-beens history to fall back on I guess)

The University of Florida has won 39 National Team Championships in 14 different sports.
(not a one-pony show like the old daze phootball factories)

Individual Gator athletes have won 275 Individual NCAA Championships.

The University of Florida (unlike Choke-la-homo) is widely recognized as having a highly competitive and accomplished athletic program. The Gators' 20 National Championships since 2006 are the most among any school in the powerhouse SEC.

Ya-know, for being old time 'Phootball Factories' playing in a disintegrating chump conference, they don't really look all that good to me, but then I'm used to sports in the best conference in the Nation.... While some of their VI fans aren't even embarrassed about their losers status in an also ran conference.

BTW, just playing sports isn't the 'be all end all' at UF. University of Florida student-athletes, coaches and administrators have become a fixture in the Gainesville community and beyond, donating their time and effort to a number of community-related endeavors. The "Goodwill Gators" program was recognized by the National Consortium of Academics and Sports and have received the Outreach and Service Award.

So, how about the chokers public service?

But hey, the chokers used to be pretty good at football, in what's left of their conf. anyway.... They spend the great majority of their athletic money on phootball, and they still don't win big when it counts anymore....

PS
I noticed that you brushed right over UF being one of only 4 schools with a NC in the Men's Big 3 - Football - Basketball - Baseball. (Just in case you're to stupid to know, none of those Men's Big 3 are played in the water.

Having fun still/yet???
😜

Thanks for the swimming update. When you’re ready to talk football let me know as it appears you have conceded OU is the Better Football program. No big deal though, everyone else considers OU the better Football program as well.

And yes, having a blast watching you scramble to show us what a great badminton program exists in Gainesville. For perspective, the Gators are ranked below Wisconsin over the last 10 years. Yikes.

Easy answer.......Spurrier arrived in 1990. That was the beginning of the end for the Great Orange Pumpkin. :p
LOL Fulmer didn't become head coach until 1992 and won the NC in 98. He wasnt fired until 2008. He was fired for losing to SC.

Spurrier was definitely his kryptonite but was never the cause of the "end" of Fulmer.

Spurrier the quitter? Six SEC Championships, played for two national titles winning one. WTF are you talking about? The Deadskins? 🤣 Who cares? Spurrier owned the pumpkin. 7 wins, 2 losses.🤣

Its easy to stay in the fight when you have an easy time recruiting top five talent in your home state and are winning 6 SECs and one NC.

Its another thing to be at a traditionally horrible football school that was made competitive for a while but was sliding back into sh*ttines. He didn't want to rebuild. I get that.

He had it easy at UF as do most coaches who show up and ink top talent and high ranked classes without leaving the state. Its like playing Super Tecmo Bowl against the computer and you are the 49ers with Montana, Rice and et al.

What he did at SC by quitting mid season was plain ole tacky to say the least. Heck it was like playing a video game with the Jets so who would expect him to play it out when he could throw down his controller and huff off to McDs for a burger, fries and a coke.

Navigator knows what I am effing talking about but doesn't have the courage to respond to IT. Instead, he ignores the point but telling me how many titles Spurrier has won which has nothing to do with Spurrier quitting. I even acknowledged Spurrier as a hof coach in my post. I don't give a crap if Spurrier won 50 titles. It doesn't change the FACT that he quit on his South Carolina team midway through the season because he was tired of losing. Spurrier would have ripped other coaches or players for doing the same. But in Spurrier's book, he has now come to regret that move. But in Navigator world, saintly Steve Superior can do nothing wrong.

I'm still surprised Spurrier ever took the SC job. Did he think SC might be turned into a Clemson?

First of all, thought you were referring to leaving the Redskins, of which I have zero fvcks to give (all things NFL). Secondly, I felt the same way about him leaving USCjr. That place is where coaches go to die. Still don't care. If you are singling out him as a coach, you missed the mark by a mile. Spurrier had more wins and highest winning percentage in school history while there.

While it matters not to me, I dost detect thou's puke orange bitterness, like the taste of a wild volunteer orange tree's fruit. 🤣

Funny read

I got this far and quit. It did make me laugh.

The Longhorns have one national championship in the past 50 years. That matches the totals of BYU, Washington, Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh. No one in the Twittersphere is throwing the word "blueblood" around when talking about those programs.

They could have mentioned UGA as well. 🤣

That being said, WTF is the deal with Texas? They've got more money than God. I guess you can't buy happiness with money? Maybe because Austin is a modern day dimtard Sodom and Gomorrah?:p

Your straw-man stupidity is not a surprise for me, it's typical of the has-been choke-la-homo's of the world.
🤔

UF has no water polo, no skiing, no badminton, and no academic basket-weaving classes to keep their athletes eligible.

That leaves your straw-men, along with your pants, on fire yet again....
😂

While your Chokers don't have a NC in the all of the Men's Big 3 Sports, Footabll, Basketball, & Baseball in your long over-rated history.

Oh BTW, UF has 5 NC's spread across just the Men's Big 3 Sports, in the last 15 years.
And UF is also a Title 9 leader and they are proud of it, not being a one pony show.

I understand that your Chokers are an ugly desert based one pony show, that has repeatedly FAILED to win a football NC in the last 20 years (while UF has won 2 in the last 15 years). And that your conference is again falling apart and dying due to the honor-less greed of both OK and TX.

Your Chokers are so big time that they are coming hat in hand and begging the SEC to invite them in, to save what's left of their also ran Athletic programs.

Having to dredge up your ancient history W/L record shows just how bad you've been in the last 2 decades in your one pony show and your falling apart excuse for a conference.....

Steve won an ACC Championship at freakin' Dukeee.
And he's the winningest coach at 2 SEC schools, UF and SCa.
He won the SECe with SCa and had B-2-B 11 win seasons there.

Saban won at LSU and Bama, but let's see him win at say Vandy, and then I'll be impressed....

Hey. We all know why you’re bringing up other sports. Thats what fans do when their FOOTBALL program can’t match up.

FWIW, those AD’s and Presidents sure did act quickly for not having considered OU and Texas to the SEC. You were just as incorrect on that issue as this one.

Match up did you say?

Just in football, UF has 2 NC's in the last 15 years.

While Choke-la-homo has ZERO NC's in the last 20 years.
And UF is one of the reasons for that choker 20+ year loser status.
Head to Head when playing for a NC: UF 24 - 14 Chokers

And in the last 15 years, UF has a combined 5 NC's in the Men's Big 3.

How many Men's Big 3 NC's does Choke-la-homo have in that span?
FREAKIN' ZERO NC's, THAT'S HOW MANY....

And finally, UF has won those NC's while playing in the toughest conference in the nation, you know, the conference that your dying chokers are begging to save your sorry butts....

Seems pretty sad to me that even when you consider football to be the ONLY important sport, and you sink most of your athletic department's money there, you still can't win a NC.
