In his 2nd season 2016-17 at UF, Mike White went 27-9, 14-4 SEC and went to the E-8 and was named the SEC CoY.

In his last 2 seasons he lost to injury his rsSr 6-11 center, and then this year his rsJr 6-11 center plus 2 PF's but he still made it to the Rnd of 32.
In 4 seasons at UF. He's never won less than 20 games in a season either. o_O

In his 2nd season 2015-16 at AU, 'Pearl the Squirrel' went 11-20, 5-13 SEC and sucked.

Mike Whites 1st 4 seasons at UF -- 89-53 (627)

The Squirrel's 1st 4 seasons at AU -- 70-62 (.530)
(19 less wins, with 9 more losses)

And just watch what happens for White and UF next season.... :cool:

You Florida idiots are really dumb. Bruce Pearl took over from probably the worst coach in Auburn history, yet he has built things up enough to win the he regular season championship in his 4th year and make the Final Four in his 5th year. He made the Final Four with half his roster being ,3 star recruits.

Mike White took over from the best coach in Florida's history and he has won absolutely nothing after 4 years
 
Opposing fans should be scared absolutely shitless when you consider Bruce Pearl has won the SEC regular season championship, the SEC tournament championship, and made the Final Four over the last two years with half his players being three star recruits.

Over the next year or two his team will transition from about half three star recruits to all four and five star recruits. That should scare the shit out of every other team in the SEC

Yes cause Bruce Pearl has won so many national titles. In fact he’s been a college basketball coach for 27 years and he’s made it past the sweet 16 just twice.

We may as well crown him! LOL.

Bruce Pearl has made 5 sweet sixteens in the last 12 years . Mike White has made one sweet sixteen in his entire coaching career.

Mike White is a complete and total loser compared to Bruce Pearl

Not that there are any mods here. Too bad for you Pearls other 4 sweet 16 appearances weren't with Auburn and the fact that he's 59 he sure won't be coaching for a long time like you dream of. If he doesn't get fired for cheating like he has a history of. Mike White has been a head coach for 8 seasons while Pearl has been a coach for over 20 seasons. I'm sure you knew that but you felt that belittling Mike White would overcome your penis envy for Florida as well as your inferiority complex.

Anyway....I'll be rooting for Auburn to win, but with Okeke not being Okaykay, I have my doubts.

I do think the biggest fan of Opelika High School has completely lost it.

I will say this, from a pure coaching stand point, Pearl probably is the best in the SEC right now.

Cal is a great recruiter (and I think he USED to be a better coach) but the fact that Pearl has now taken two ho-hum programs in the country defense and turned them around is pretty commendable.

Even Charles Barkley and those great Auburn teams of the 80s didn't make it to the Final 4.

Don't worry though, I'll be quite drunk before the game even tips off.

I'm not a big fan of Pearl and his tenure at Auburn will likely end even worse than his tenure at Cheatersee.

I will say this: He does a fabulous job of engaging the fans and getting them excited about the program. I will give him that.

Auburn has generally recruited better in the last 3 or 4 years

Auburn was 3 quarters away from making the college football playoffs as recently as two years ago. We went into the 2017 SEC championship game ranked second and led that game after the first quarter. We still have 6 or 7 starters or key playerrs from that defense

That is on top of winning the national championship in 2010 and playing for it again in 2013

Meanwhile Florida has done jack shit since Urban Meyer left

We will likely start a quarterback that people have compared to Cam Newton since he was a freshman in high school because of his size and freakish athletic ability as a runner.

Even the national recruiting analyst for ESPN, rivals, and 247 sports compare him to Cam Newton

Actually Auburn sux at more sports than U.K., since U.K. has finished with a higher Directors Cup ranking than Aubie for at LEAST the last 3 years..... and way ahead of Auburn this year bigly yet again.

Are you kidding? College athletics goes back over a hundred years. The directors cup hasn't even been around the majority of that time.

Finishing ahead of Auburn in the directors cup the last year or two, or even the last five years dies not make you better than Auburn in college athletics.

At least not historically. College athletics has existed a lot longer than that.

Auburn isn't great in women's basketball today, but we have tons of success in our past, including 3 or 4 final fours.

We are historically better than Kentucky in women's basketball and the same thing applies to just about every other sport except men's basketball

In the history of their school, Auburn has won 16 NCAA team championships. 8 in Men's Swimming & Diving and 2 in football, plus 5 in Women's Swimming & Diving & 1 in Women's Outdoor Track & Field.

The University of Florida has won 41 NCAA team championships.
On the men's side we have 1 in baseball, 2 in basketball, 3 in football, 4 in golf, 5 in indoor track & field, 4 in outdoor track & field, 2 in swimming & diving. On the women's side we have 2 in golf, 4 in gymnastics, 1 in indoor track & field, 1 in soccer, 2 in softball, 3 in swimming & diving and 7 in tennis.

Florida has, also, won 242 team regular season SEC championships, more than any other SEC program. Auburn has won 75 SEC regular season championships.

It's not even close which school has the historically better athletic program.
