Since I can’t read above 4th grade level - your attempt to insult me is amateur hour personified by the way - I will just say the attempt failed fatso.
What failed, asshole, is that you and others who apparently lack the intellect to understand WHY a television show that portrayed a person who had total editorial control over the final air product had “haters”. I didn’t watch the show and didn’t have any particular opinion about DJT one way or another-but you seem to not understand some never liked the man and yet others thought he was okay as a showman but would not be okay as a POTUS.
And you refuse to accept any other opinion other than the one you hold. Fine - but you MUST realize there won’t ever be a consensus majority about much of anything in this country. I truly appreciate most of what he accomplished in four years, but I happen to be ready to turn the page and put both of these very old men out to pasture. I’m not alone. Like it or not.
Comprehend THAT.
4th grade my ass.
I didn't insult you. I made a comment on the effort, not the person.
And I followed it up with self-deprecation for good measure.
I certainly didn't stoop to the level of name calling. I'm not sure why this conversation has triggered you like it has.
Here's exactly what I said, read it carefully because I wrote it intentionally:
"Your last two replies to my posts represent reading comprehension on a 3rd or 4th grade level...or maybe I'm just awful at communicating my point."
I never said anything about you not being able to read, I was insinuating you weren't trying to understand the point because that's how your responses read.
Now to your point - Trump's reputation before he ran for office was almost 180 degrees from where it is today.
Some examples:
Hip Hop - he was referenced positively in dozens of songs:

He hosted SNL twice and had numerous cameos:
The Apprentice really has nothing to do with anything, other than that and his business success were what he was best known for. It's more about a place in time, how society viewed him and why that changed.
He served one term as President and, at least until Covid, was wildly successful telling the establishment swamp to kiss his ass. He showed conservatives there was another way, a better type of leadership than we've seen from the Bushes, Romneys and McCains of the party.
And the response from media and left leaning pop culture? He went from representing success and opulence to public enemy #1.
That - in and of itself - should tell you he was over the target. It should make anyone who wants prosperity, freedom and liberty, and a strong America to look past the times he makes you cringe. If you aren't a Great Reset Globalist, you should be able to hold your nose while you eat your veggies. Wanting him gone because of his age is extremely myopic and short-sighted.
