Notre Dame was losing to 4-7 Louisville LATE in the Second Half and won 12-7! Show me a game A&M had against a weak team where that happened? And their loss was to THE BEST team in the nation. I think Jimbo’s a douche but, they got screwed.

Please. The ONLY reason ND was in the discussion was playing an ACC schedule.
When you play top 25 teams every week.... You are afforded 1 loss. Just another day in the ACC
I think ND may have a better argument than Ohio St to be in the playoff but Notre Dame would be like 4th in the SEC behind Bama, UF, A&M & UGA.

Until it goes to 8 teams this isn't a playoff. Go undefeated, win your conference. If you don't do that you don't get to say you are screwed. A&M got hammered by Bama. They had their shot. This is not a playoff, it's an invitation, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Alabama have cache.
Truth is four teams have won the Invitation . Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State have taken 75 percent of the invitation berths. Notre Dame has been invited twice, they got hammered by Clemson the first time, they will get hammered by Bama on the First. Oklahoma has made it four times, only been Competitive once. They would have made it in again had they not lost to Iowa State the first time.

The P5 might as well just tell them to scram. I'm not upset, I used to care about who got in. Now I just enjoy good games. Bama will destroy Notre Dame. Clemson will have a fight against Ohio State. The winner will go in at a disadvantage like last year. Clemson got beat by LSU last year because LSU got a bye, while Clemson had a dog fight against Ohio State.

I just think 8 teams is a bad idea. You’ll likely have too many blowouts. Look how many blowouts we get just with a 4 team playoff
If it came down to ND and ATM, I say ND gets in. Regardless of HOW they beat Clempson, they DID beat the one team that they lost to this year. ATM didn't. ATM had it's teeth kicked in by Alabama and rolled over and played dead against Bama. At the end of the day ATM beat NOBODY good outside of a last second gift victory from Florida. Florida didn't get into the CFP. ND could easily be said to have beaten nobody as well except for a victory over Clempson without it's starting QB. Clempson on the other hand IS in the CFP. So neither team can brag against the other about playing a tougher schedule IMHO. More than half of ATM's schedule was against teams that ultimately fired their head coach, or had done so last year and were running first year head coaches. Not impressed in the slightest personally.
Personally I wouldn't have either of those two teams in and would have chosen Cincinatti. 2020 is bound to have asterisks next to every single game or championship going forward into history, so why not let this be the year when you allow a group of 5 team get into the playoff to see if all their bleating amounts to anything substantial, or if an undefeated mid major team really does get it's doors blown off in the big game against the big teams. Bama will put more players into the NFL on it's four year roster right now than Cincy even has starters.

They limped past Vandy, winning 17-12. The same Vandy that went 0-9 and gave up 40+ points five times, and 38 points twice.

Notre Lame is a POS, lame assed national media icon. Much the same as OSU, schedule deficient lamestream team. Neither is as good as CNN, which speaks volumes. Both are fake news.
