Trump had lowest unemployment for black people, that's a lie. Trump wasn't in wars and troops didn't die under Trump, that's a lie. In fact, more troops died under Trump than Biden. Under Trump we were energy independent unlike now, is a lie. We are producing and using the most oil produced by America in history under Biden. Those are some ads I've seen that is a lie.

Make sure you talk about Biden, shutting down the Keystone pipeline and regulating the hell out of oil and gas in an attempt to shut it down and that's produced despite all of the draconian regulations. The production of oil and gas is despite Joe., if he weren't there, it would be huge. Right now it's like stepping on the gas while having your foot fully on the brake, no pun intended. Credit to the gas and oil companies being able to do this despite Joe Biden stepping on their throats ...

That's your talking points. The GOP told you guys to say keystone pipeline and producing despite Bidens policies. Why? Because it takes away Trump's ability to talk about energy.
The weakest argument is to say that it is happening despite a policy because you can say that about everything you dislike.
Also a pipeline doesn't produce oil. It transport oil, that oil is still getting transported.

Trump lies far more than anybody I have ever seen in American politics and its not close. And I am not a democrat. I am closer to Liz Cheney beliefs than I am Kamala Harris......but I don't bend the knee so that makes me a communist on here. You want to go back through the transcript of his last debate and count up the lies? There are guys you can google who have chronicled thousands of his lies. Honestly, its hard for me to understand anybody who doesn't immediately see that about him. First couple times I ever heard him speak was a turn off because I knew immediately he was bullshitting me. Frankly, I was surprised anybody believed him.
A lot of his lies are the type where everybody listening to him knows he is lying (like saying everybody wanted Roe v Wade to go back to the states, which he did several times in the last debate and it couldn't be more untrue)......so I used to wonder why he did it. Was it just ego "I can say whatever I want".........but I eventually realized/learned why he does it. Its really the brilliance of Trumps whole act..........everything he does he is trying to reach the "low engagement voters". He knows that the 25% or so of us who really pay attention to this stuff are almost impossible to sway......but the low engagement voter who could give a shit about politics and will only catch snippets here or there is easier to persuade. And that's why, IMO, you see the "white men without college degrees" being the biggest favorable voting block for Trump by a wide margin. Far more than the advantage Kamala has among women or Blacks. Its the only reason Trump is competitive. He gets something like 67% of that demographic. And he does it by constantly throwing them red meat in terms they can understand.
I would somewhat agree (although not necessarily on the specifics).....but perhaps your missing the bigger picture here. We have moved to the left in this country in a lot of ways. But now look around the world at all the other democracies. Almost every one is even farther to the left than we are. The countries that are not are generally run by strong men or totalitarian regimes. My point........when people are left to vote for themselves a democracy will move to the left. That just seems to be the reality......a democracy will move to the left over time and generally away from religion. I am just basing that on what I see around the world, so if you see something different point it out. I am also NOT saying its a good thing, it just appears to be what happens.
So my point here is that moving to the left may simply be a byproduct of living in a free country.
Lets make it REAL simple for you. Are things better in America today...or when Trump was in office? Quit with all the BS. THIS IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS. If you say TODAY, please list all the things to back your statement up.

And to your point that it's not necessarily a good thing, I would 100% agree with that, just take a look at England, France, Germany, Canada and the Scandinavian countries, they have completely ****ed themselves with the rampant, Muslim immigration and are on the path to becoming Third World countries. These "democracies" have clearly forgotten how bad socialism and communism are. In England, you can go to prison for Miss gendering someone or for posting something controversial on social media. I'm sorry, but that is insane and that is not democracy, but rather fascism . Countries like Poland and Hungary and Argentina have seen the error of these ways and Brazil is in the midst of it right now. It's time for the US to wake up and not move any further left since it's been a shit show since Biden came into power. The bar for sanity in this country has never been lower ...

My personal opinion is that if Trump gets elected it will be just like the abortion issue and backfire on the republicans in the long run. You can't strong arm people into believing what you want them to believe. It may slow down the progression for 4 years, but the blowback in the next election will be dramatic. Similar to what has happened in England.
That's where you're mistaken, there are an awful lot of Republicans that do not oppose abortion, me being among them, even though I'm a libertarian.
It's interesting that you think the people like how left the country is, I completely disagree with this. I think an awful lot of people are really tired of all the crap and I think it's the majority. Let me ask you this. If people are tired of the country moving left, why hasn't a republican won the popular vote in this country for 20 years? And beyond that WHY has the country moved left in a democracy if the majority of the people don't want it?

No idea why the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, but I was unhappy they did., despite the fact that the left was conflating that this was outlawing abortion, which is nowhere near the truth.
I'm going to guess that it's because the left has screamed so loud and so long about social issues that the right does not give a shit about, when it comes down to brass tacks. I remember before the last election, my brother who is pretty reasonable usually said I just want to fighting to stop, regardless, who gets elected. Well that was never gonna happen. They screamed loud and long about Trump from the moment he was in the White House to the current day.. I think most of the country would like the lawlessness to disappear. And protesters to be held accountable for burning down buildings. Instead of getting long prison terms for this January 6 nonsense.. I want to talk about a double standard?
