2024-25 Basketball,,, all things considered...

It's almost too rare to see a team like Auburn return almost, if not every starter from last season. Call him sweaty and/or a cheater, but Bruce Pearl to me is one of the best college hoops coaches dating all the way back to his days at UW-Milwaukee.

On another note, there are Indiana fans who believe he can take their hoops program to the same level as Auburn's, but he'd be an idiot not to continue his legacy at AU. Even with Nate Oats at Bama, Pearl has made Tuscaloosa his b1tch.

Florida is a 9.5 point dog lmfao.. Sacrificial cows of the SEC

No reason to watch that shit

This team can beat anyone when healthy and is definitely Final Four capable. We will see how the rest of the season plays out but we are definitely on track for a 2 seed and the SEC will likely get two 1 seeds so we could still snag a 1 seed possibly.

Tremendous team win. Condon & Hough were absolute beasts. Condon played 33 minutes, 17 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal. Hough 29 minutes, 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks. Clayton was great today as well. 40 m,inutes, 19 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and only 3 turnovers. Klavzar's 3-3 on threes was big, Aberdeen & Richard were solid and Chinyulu did the dirty work in the paint. 22 team assists, 12 turnovers. Excellent win. 20-3. Whio would have thought? Now were need Alijah Martin back when we go to Starkeville on Tuesday.

I intentionally did not post here during the game. It's bad luck. I had knees crossed, killed some chickens and did blood sacrifices, had a priest come by and do an exorcism on my tv. 😂

I got the reverse jinx post out the way before the game started..

I was too locked into that game in 2nd half to do anything on the internet.. I wanted Blood, I knew we had those mf'ers I just wanted the clock to run out.

We scored more points in the first half against the #1 team than we did the entire game last Saturday. Imagine someone telling you that 7 days ago

Typical idiot Clemson fans that banned us from their POS forum just stormed the court after their win over Puke.

At the UF-Tennessee game, the arena announcer warned us repeatedly not to run onto the court. I guess the ACC is still too stupid to enforce the same SEC rules for the sake of everyones safety. Oh, and their baseball fans are far bigger idiots and they showed that against UF last summer.

Was today the best win in college basketball this season? Because all I've heard is how Auburn is a freight train that can't be stopped.. while watching them bully and show their ass every game showing up their opponents.. There's not one redeeming quality about that bunch

Reactions: Gator Fever
As I said.... >>> "Proving that scenario wrong would be just fine wid-me...."
Gator were on today, especially the shooters with 5 in double figures.
Also, Clayton got his assists going.
3 Stars Condon & Haugh were their usual outstanding selves.
And the rest of the team did their part including the Slovenian PG filling in for Martin, solid performances.

Happy to have been prover wrong as they turned the Barners into the red-headed stepchild....

Anything short of a Sweet 16 would be disappointing, if they can stay fairly healthy.

Wadda ya spect from Clemp's-Son anyway???

KY fans were even talking highly of Condon today.
Broome missed a lot of chippies, but some of that was frustration at how Condon was holding his game down. He did score a good bit down the stretch but by then the game was pretty much out of reach. Condon is fairly new at basketball, too, and seems to be getting better and better with each game experience. Impressive guy. Haugh as well.

I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. If Thomas Haugh isn’t the SEC’s sixth man of the year then it’s bogus. This guys motor is flat out incredible. He never quits on anything be it a rebound, a shot, scrambling for a loose ball, defending, whatever. Yes there are players scoring more (Brea at UK etc) but that in no way tells you his value.

Hey I-wish-dogpoker, how are all of those low rated Gators doing?
Those Incoming recruits ranking and stars sure make the difference don't they???
Makeup of the Gator 2024-25 B-Ball team:
Zero 5-stars, only 1 4-star C Chinyelu, along with a pack of 3-star and NR's.
Gator's 7th Man CG Klavzar this week combined vs VU & AU, 5/5 on 3's.
Lovin' your sig btw dogpoker, and in your face..... ROTF-LMFAO
😂 🤣 😁

When these two (3-stars) are on the court this season, the Gators observed offensive efficiency is 129.1 and observed defensive efficiency is 93.6, which is a margin of 35.5. Furthermore, the gap between them and the second lineup is bigger than the gap from 2nd to 4th.
Combined Condon--Haugh Stats @ #1 Auburn:

61 Min, FG 11/20, FT 10/13, RB 19, Ast 7, Blk 3, Stl 2, PF 4, Pts 33
Just 1 RB short of having 2 double/doubles -- AC 17/10 - 33 Min - TH 16/9 - 28 Min

Beat VU without starting 3-star PG Clayton.
Beat AU with starting 3-star CG Martin.
PG Aberdeen and CG Klavzar filling in nicely.

"You know, a lot of our guys were for lack better term, underrecruited. We don't have a lot of five-star guys on our team, I don't think we have one actually. You know, we have a lot of mid-to-low major transfers, a lot of guys that weren't recruited by other teams in our league. And, you know, that's something we talk about and think about a lot, you know, is just playing with that chip on our shoulder and make sure we're the harder playing team. And, you know, without trying to take anything away from Auburn, I thought we were, you know, we executed that today. We played really, really hard." -- Todd Golden

What the iG has always stressed, Playing as a TEAM.

PS -- The New NET Rankings:

  1. Auburn ----- 21-2 - Q-1 --12-2
  2. Dukie ------- 20-3 - Q-1 -- 5-3
  3. Houston --- 19-4 - Q-1 -- 4-3
  4. Tennissee - 20-4 - Q-1 -- 8-4
  5. Florida ----- 20-3 - Q-1 -- 4-3
They need to switch #3 Houston with #5 Florida in the iG's OHO...
Houston ain't playing an SEC schedule, and they have a lower W/L record. Plus UF has beat 2 #1 Ranked teams by a combined 39 Pts.

In fact, I'd put Bama 20-3, Q-1 7-3 ahead of Houston....

Just looking at the W/L and Q-1 W/L:
1. AU - 2. Bama - 3. UF - 4. TN.
But then the rest of the college B-Ball world would have freakin' strokes I guess.... 😁
