we wasted so many chances with the bases loaded and only tied the game, then... of course, gave it right back with a solo shot the next inning... Don't see us winning this one, unless more crazy shit happens after the delay, we need too many station to station hits with runners on to ever score and unbelievably undisciplined swings after another with this lineup
It's 5-4 in the fifth inning after spotting them 4 in the first inning. All things considered, I'll take it. It will be very interesting to see how both teams handle the pitching tomorrow.
have no idea who's gonna be pitching but we should have done more with the bases loaded in that inning or at least had the lead or been tied, should have had 6 after that inning.. Swinging at shit ruined the inning, we literally have guys that can't even lay bunts down and then continue to KEEP striking out trying to every single time i see them try with two outs, it's ridiculous how that's even possible at this level... and the no disciplined swings at the plate so often, jesus christ...
Except for Alex Faedo the experienced, MLB draft eligible guys on our team have under performed this year. And yet we're 1 win away from the CWS. Injuries have impacted that some, but to me Coach O'Sullivan has done the best coaching job of his career getting the team to this point. Hope we can squeeze out 1 more win and get to Omaha.

That is because the two teams haven't played this post season. Do you remember what happened in the three games the two teams DID play this season? Something about a broom comes to mind.

Also, isn't UL, TT & UCF ranked? We played UL in the ACC tourney and TT & UCF in the regionals.
I agree...and it's a fan of one of my school's teams. It'd be worse if I announced my love for the Golden State Warriors suddenly. LOL
If Tennesse Tech can beat them In Tally not sure I would call them hottest team. Great draw with a big time slumping Auburn team and ucf then good fortune getting sam houston st. As for the Gators we can hit which means any team in the country could beat us right now

Impressed with this Wake team. Their lineup is the best weve seen this year, Im scared to see how many hits and runs they pound out in this 3rd game, they may score 15 or so.

They're legit. Took 2 of three from us about a month ago. Definitely an offensive force.

Wake took the series from FSU during the reg season as well. Gonna tune into the next game.
