I wear a mask ...LOL guess most know. I have been trying to not worry and get back to some normalcy.
As I say stats are fine unless you are one of them.
Last week I was in Gatlinburg (part business and part vacation)and social distancing was near impossible is some areas. I would say mask compliance was in the 95% range.
Yesterday I was at a waterpark in Nashville. My son is poor swimmer and I met with the assistant scoutmaster to work on his stamina and mechanics. He has to pass a swim test to advance to First Class. Besides that I want him to be a safe and decent swimmer at camp (if they have it next year.) The time to get any meaningful work in is going out with the season. MAYBE we can get to an indoor pool between now and camp and get him up to speed. He will be 14 next month. He has had 3 different swim classes. I was an excellent swimmer by 6.
Once you are in the park a mask is impractical. I did my best to stay 6 feet away from people and sanitized a few times. I hope the chlorine was strong enough.
Nashville is the states hotspot with 22K cases.
Life! It is what it is.
