    Norvell could definitely end up being good, but on paper it would be a C+ hire for a program like FSU. There are coaches within FSU's own conference that FSU could realistically get that would be better hires. Bronco Mendenhall & Dave Clawson come to mind.

    Agree. Bob Stoops, Mark Stoops, and Matt Campbell are the top 3 that FSU is pursuing from what I hear.

    I'm not sold on Fleck. Too risky. Dude could be the next Urban Meyer or the next Willie Taggart. Said this before we hired Taggart and I'll say it again -- Dave Clawson wouldn't be a splash hire from a big name standpoint, but that dude can flat out coach football. We could do way worse.

    One of the reasons I'm still skeptical. Stoops may just be one of those people that is interested in every offer. Doesn't necessarily mean there's an agreement.

    I'm not buying it quite yet, but there is a lot of buzz around town regarding Stoops. I still can't help but put this in the "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" category.

    This was certainly a disappointing class for FSU, but the lack of skill players on offense had nothing to do with Taggart. The NCAA sets the scholarship limit; not Willie Taggart. FSU was set to return 10 WRs, 4 RBs, and 4 TEs. It's not like he could go out and sign 5 of each. Scholarship limits...

    Hurts or Fields then sign 1 of Lance LeGendre/John Plumlee/Peyton Matocha. I think Francois takes it to the CFL and starts earning a paycheck and it wouldn't surprise me if Blackman transfers.

    FSU will get a grad transfer to battle it out with Blackman. Francois is a terrible QB that doesn't seem to be well liked by his teammates. He's not owed a 5th year here. Best for everyone to move on.

    Francois leaving would be a good thing for the program. I'm disappointed that Taggart is even giving him the option of returning.
