Patrick Toney and the creeper defense

Riley Reed mentioned the creeper defense in his YouTube discussion with Seth Varnadore. Toney is mentioned prominenly in this article, and remember that Aranda and Toney are disciples of Ron Roberts, who ironically enough is Aranda's DC at Baylor. Pete Golding, Bama's DC, is also a disciple of Roberts.

Check out his article from two years ago on the analytics of pass rush vs coverage, but more importantly it mentions Toney specifically in regards to this "creeper" trend among defenses. Really hoping BN brings this guy....

Ranking The CFP Quarterbacks

1) Bryce Young - not even up for discussion. Clutch drive for 97 yards in Jordan Hare to send it to OT and eventually win. Plus the show he put on yesterday. Heisman front runner.

2) Desmond Ridder - playmaker all around and proved it in the big W vs Norte Dame. Can beat you with arms and legs. Could give the Tide fits in the CFP.

3) Cade McNamara - not exactly someone who can scare you but has proven solid in big games. Rushing game and defense carry Michigan though.

4) Stetson Bennett IV - like McNamara he doesn't scare you and has relied upon his generational defense at Georgia to win games. Steady QB until crunch time i.e. SECCG. Can he lead a team back from behind?

Who would you go with in the CFP? Who'd you bet on in Vegas? Questions, comments, insults welcome. FIRE AWAY!

Staff timetable question

Jason my question is how you see the timing going. I assume they want to keep most of the staff to coach the bowl game. There are 2 spots (Grantham, Hevesy) that we could fill now. I assume with the others Billy has to make a call about keeping them through the bowl or dumping them now and bringing in a coach now and coaching the bowl with a GA running practice? Unless there ways to get around which staff members can visit and call recruits

ND > UGA

I apologize for the redundant thread, but I just can’t help my unbridled hate for UGA. Notre Dame should be the 4th playoff team over this house of cards jortgia team. ND lost to cinci, which is probably worse than UGA losing to bama, but at least they don’t have those retarded 80’s spike shoulder pads. Furthermore, I’d love to see ND in the playoffs without their bag O’dicks coach Kelley. There are simply too many fantastic storylines to ignore. Phuck UGA, and Go Gators.
