The Billy Napier Florida Football era is about to begin. All I can say is no matter how long you have been following this program (40-years for me) what you are about to see is going to be different than in years past. It will not resemble anything any of us are used to seeing when you say the words Florida Gators football - and this is a great thing by the way not a bad thing. I have no clue HOW it will turn out two years down the road but once he gets "all" his folks in the building I think the best way to describe it will be Bama on horse steriods - he is taking the best aspects of what he learned at Bama and Clemson and will apply them to what he thinks work and poof - the Billy Napier plan is in place....executing is another story but I am thrilled to see what tomorrow brings and the next day and the next and so on....I have not been able to say that in a long time...

it sure as hell is now that you better be dynamic at Qb and skill oustide. If you can block for that half decent your very, very tough to stop. The grounf and pound aint gonna cut it. Worries me knowing CBN is a ground first guy. No chance to win a NC with that formula.

and we got one! Riley and Kelly aren't Alpha's. Riley is clearly a beta (running from the SEC). Napier said "give me this and I'll build you a program", he clearly isn't scared of Saban or Kirby. I like that confidence.

Well I am not '76 or SGUN or Hills, etc.. Just love tuning in every morning for the past 19 years and letting you guys make me spit up my coffee laughing every day. Been here since '02 and have to say Higdon has me pretty pumped up if what he is putting out here comes to fruition. Well, here are my 2 cents on many topics.

Mullen - been done with him since he sat Pitts in last years' LSU game. He has always been arrogant and thought he was better than everyone else. I am tired of people saying why did we fire a guy after 1 bad year. Sorry, we had two bad years. Last year was a bad year when you have a generational offense and lose 4 games. Two of which you basically gave away. On a recruiting front, my brother in law is tied into a lot of HS contacts in Orlando and the stories he is telling me about Mullen not even calling guys and basically not giving a crap about recruiting while Kirby is busting his ass to get them is unforgivable. DM sucks.

I am not sure what Billy can do with this class. He is so far behind the 8 ball with what this previous staff did that I just don't think it is fair to put expectations on him for this class. Anything he does good in this class is icing on the cake. If he puts a good recruiting staff in place for long term success, brings in top coordinators and starts rebuilding our relationships with high schools, I will be happy. I have not been this excited since SOS came into the program. I wasn't this excited when Urban came in because I had no idea what he was going to do, but if BN is going to do what Jason is saying then LET'S GO!

As far as today's games go, I cannot go with the crowd that wants uga to lose. I just cannot stand bama being in the CFP another year. I hate georgia but if they lose today, then both them and bama will be in the CFP and quite honestly I could see georgia still winning it all even if they lost today. So, I hope bama loses today (cannot say I want uga to win), then I want to see uga lose in the CFP, of which I only think Michigan can beat them, but at least both of them are not in the playoffs. It would also be pretty sweet if ND won it all with Kelly bailing on them early. That would be phenomenal. Also, looking forward to seeing what Houston does with Cincy since Belk may be our next DC. Also, cannot wait to watch the Ragin Cajuns as I am sure many of you will be tuning into also.

Will we go back to bigger TEs that can block and help the running game? Also I would not mind going back to a true 4-2-5 rather than the weird 3-3-5 with a "buck" concept that Grantham ran. I like a stout DL with two SDEs rather than an SDE and a Buck.

My grandson is about to run in the championship division. Best runners in the nation are here (5K). The girls Championship just concluded. The winner is from Flowermound HS in Texas with a time of 16:03. Seems like we may have an interest in that school.
