For any experts. On our punt return setup I noticed Pyburn and another guy a few yards behind the line on scrimmage. Are they allowed to hit the Long Snapper once he breaks through the line of scrimmage. A few times yesterday I noticed guys running right by Jack but I wasn't sure if he was allowed to block them or not as they are running down the field.

We are +4 for aTM on HRB; +4.5 everywhere else per Vegas Insider.

My Prediction:

Billy will start GM on Saturday. Unfortunately, some fans will boo and the unrest will begin. Whether or not GM plays well, we will see DJ within three series and the offense will look different, if the right plays are called. By the end of the A&M game, I believe we will see the team perform better under DJ. Billy will have to play DJ more as the season progresses or he will not only lose the fans but his own locker room. Whether or not we win Saturday will depend on how much DJ plays.

My Hope:

DJ and GM make a nice one two punch throughout the season and the team elevates itself as a result. We win at least six games.

Secondly, we have seen against good competition that we are still lacking in the trenches. With the hope of DJ moving forward more funding will come in for NIL. PLEASE use that to get stud DL and OL recruits. We have plenty of skill players, but three things make championship teams. Top QB, top OL and Top DL. We have one out of three currently.

At this point. He’ll have growing pains but he’s a future Heisman winner and top 5 NFL pick IMO. It would absolutely crush what’s left of my UF football fandom to see him leave and ball out elsewhere. The UF power brokers need to be as involved as they need to be to ensure he stays when Napier trots Mertz out next week. There needs to be a plan in place ASAP around keeping him, no matter the cost. He’s the type of kid that can lift a whole program up. Sadly I have little faith our admin will figure this out

That was a great game to go to because of DJ. So many records and one game. Yes it was Howard college a.k.a. Sanmford, but you don’t get to attend many games where you see so many records broken by a freshman quarterback.

Clearly we’re a much better team with DJ, his abilities open up that offense make it far more dimensional.

You should get the start against the Aggies. Let’s hope that he does.
