A sick class!

Upon much reflection, sadgator thinks it is warranted, appropriate, and justified for us to objectively evaluate Mr. Stricklin’s job performance as the person entrusted to lead Florida athletics. Anyone can play…we could do this as a week to week assessment of the state of our program…sadgator will go first…

Week ending Nov. 9…

After yet another (and now routine) football loss to UGA, Mr. Stricklin came out with an oddly-timed and nebulous “letter” to Gator Nation stating that Billy Napier “will continue” as Florida’s head coach.

The very next day, it was revealed that an incredibly troublesome Title IX complaint alleging sexual harassment and/or stalking had been filed with UF regarding the head basketball coach hired by Mr. Stricklin.

Two days later, Florida Football suffered one of it’s most humiliating and non-competitive defeats in its modern football history to a first year SEC team; a beating that the school’s own athletic department media team described in part as ”rock bottom.”

Accordingly, for admittedly taking the Florida Football team and entire University of Florida athletic program to “rock bottom” this week…Mr. Stricklin…your grade is: F

Today Buddy Martin said we are bringing in a OL coach that is coming with a Transfer Olineman. Sounded like he stepped out of line when saying that. Anyone know who that is.

Buddy also sounds like he's chewing on a carton of cigarettes when he talks but it sounded like he said Billy G is out as WR coach. Tough to hear if he said "out" or "our" because he has marble mouth, but I rewinded it 3 times and still couldn't tell which word he said

I thought it was Portnoy, but apparently not. Ellison's 4th or 5th wife went to Michigan and got him to get Underwood.


We need more billionaires I guess 🤮...and Tebow to start calling these kids.

I went to my first Florida vs Florida State football game at Doak on Saturday. I’ve been a Gator season-ticket holder for multiple years and have gone to numerous SEC road games like at Auburn at LSU at Tennessee at South Carolina, but I honestly can say that Florida states stadium atmosphere regardless of the seats missing was absolutely terrible. Their stupid song at the end of the first quarter was an absolute joke trying to make it like our Tom Petty stand up with your flashlights. There in game fan that would get on the microphone every time out.

It made me
Appreciate what we have so much more.

Based on the close of the season, the flips and the now expected top ten recruiting class I was wrong to be on the Lane Train. I am loud, obnoxious and ridiculously opinionated. Despite those shortcomings I am honest and admit when I am wrong.

I still have my doubts because of some of the play calling and odd gaffes but I was wrong about Napier. I hope he gets an O coord so he can focus on the big picture. Hopefully you all realize I only have ever wanted the best for my Gators. I’m from New England and as I tell my Pats friends “I am a Patriots FAN…. But I am a Florida Gator”

FSU is paying him I would assume several Million a year also. Norvell would be long gone if not for his buyout. Good thing he’s all yours for the next 7 years.

First off why did they wait until 4th qrt of last week to put this kid in? The other QB has to be replaced, period. If Lagway keeps playing like this he will be heisman two years in a row. He reminds me so much of Cam Newton on the passing.

Second, overall they played better but not yet tested well enough. Whoever decided NOT to start Lagway he is the one who needs to be gone, putting 6-7 year senior over PURE TALENT as in LAGWAY is STUPID. Mertz doesn't belong there at QB sorry. I'm guessing he is going to be an MD? I am sure he will be great at that. Lagway is the best Freshman QB I've seen in 15 years. Hopefully they don't read these boards, I don't want it to go to his head.

Not sure if it was already mentioned but FIU wide receiver Eric Rivers entered the Transfer Portal last weekend. Rivers will be one of the top receivers in the Transfer Portal this offseason. On the season, Rivers had 62 receptions for a program-record 1,172 receiving yards and twelve touchdowns. He could be a player Florida targets this offseason as they look to add more weapons for DJ Lagway.

The Plan for National Signing Day 2024

I will run everything live on Wednesday from our Real-Time Chat Room - Anything posted in the chat room WILL automatically populate into the message board thread that I create called National Signing Day 2024, so you will be able to go back and read through whatever is discussed throughout the day - you will not miss a thing.
