Non-panic Recruiting....

Could you list the specific sub-par OL recruits for me, and what characteristic or stats that make them sub-par?
I will assume that any that are not listed are good recruits iyo.

PS

73. LG/LT Martez Ivey 6-5 305 So (took Riles place in 2nd half of 2015)
64. LG/C Tyler Jordan 6-4 309 So

66. OG Nick Buchanan 6-2 301 rsFr
68. OG Richerd Desir-Jones 6-4 292 rsFr
67. OG Brandon Sandifer 6-3 323 rsFr
61. C/OG Brett Heggie 6-3 317 Fr - EE - UA-AA
59. RG/C T.J. McCoy 6-1 308 rsFr
----
60. OG Zach Shinn 6-2 296 rsSo - WO
71. OG Nick Villano 6-2 301 rsFr - WO

And several others that could fill an OG spot.

You completely whiffed. As good as our class may be, it sucks at OL and DT

Maybe those idiot Mc-staffers should hire a whissy-michssy with an infallible crystal ball to improve their terrible recruiting....
I care about Mc-staff's opinion of them, and how they perform on the field, not so much about what some recruiting twit (or their fans) rate them. Otherwise guys like 3 star Davis, or 2 star Kylan Johnson would never be Gators.

The 2017 Class (14) is now expected to be a full (24-27) class. That leaves Mc-staff with 10-13 additional slots to fill, (the majority will be D).
I expect the 2017 class to have a heavier emphasis on the defense.
(Why? see below)
=======
=======

Offensive recruiting responsibility for the 2016 roster by Mc-staff:
All 6 of the current QB's - 100%
4 of the 5 ship RB's - 80%
10 of the 15 on OL - 66.7%
7 of the 11 ship WR's - 63.6%
1 of the 4 ship TE's - 25%
Mc-staff has spent their first couple of classes attempting to fill all of the holes on the offense that were created by the last staff, while at the same time keeping up the solid standards on the defense. o_O
(I gottcha whif swingin' bubba) :p

Our two DT are 2 of our 3 lowest rates recruits and don't really fit our scheme. Look at Harbaugh, Urb, Saban. They lock in elite DT immediately. Not a position to mess around with.
They don't fit our scheme? What? You serious?

When is the last time we uses a NT??

DT/NT Khairi Clark 6-2 319 rsSo - HS Army AA - SEC Academic H-R
Offers: UF - UA, UGA, LSU, FSU, Clem, Mia, tOSU, etc.

"Clark got on the field as a redshirt freshman more than most thought he would. Not considered a big play maker, he has the size and ability to be a stuffer in the middle of the defense which is more like the job defensive tackles are usually assigned to do. Clark was put in a lot of tough situations a year ago and played well more often than not. He appeared in 14 gms with 1 start." (you're welcome) :D

2017 Recruiting Update:

QB-PP Jake Allen of #1 STA HS:
STA 51 - 0 Dillard
STA 42 - 6 Miramar

Ath/QB Kadarius Toney of 8 Mile, Blount, Ala:

Blount 41 - 10 Baldwin Co.

CB Marco Wilson of Plantation, FL
He had 3 Tkls, 1 PBU, and 1 Int in a win over Don Bosco Prep.

CB Elijah Blades of John Muir, Pasadena, Cal.
A 27 yard TD run to win the game over Desert Oasis.
He also had 2 other TD's that were negated by penalties.

2018 #8 CB Brendan Radley-Hiles, from Calabasas, Calif., has named UF his No. 1 school in an interview with Rivals. Radley-Hiles plans to visit Florida for the LSU game along with CB Elijah Blades and Los Angeles 4-star LB Rahyme Johnson, who lists the Gators as one of his top teams.
