Wow..... I actually like some of our lefty friends here. (note I said some). Life would be just dull as hell going around agreeing with everyone. But this censorship bullshit sucks balls. I can take it and I can dish it out without being butthurt.

Back in the day when there was no internet and you had to buy a magazine to get the scoop on recruting it made sense. Word of mouth was slow and you had to hear to from someone who took one of the mags. But in the internet age you are at worst 12-24 hrs from learning the scoop.

While it's bad right now. Over the long haul, it may be good if it forces people to decentralize and become less dependent on a small number of media companies.

The endorsements thing is going to change the landscape of CFB. The haves will get richer and the have nots get poorer. Might as well have a CFB draft, and at that point, I'M OUT.

I've always said that they should just get rid of academic exemptions for athletes. Yes, the overall player skill level would take a hit, but it would instantly remove the mercenary aspect. People would no longer be able to claim the schools are exploiting unpaid athletes who aren't there to learn anyway. CFB would go back to being legit student athletes instead of the de facto NFL minor league.

I'm good with that actually. Lower the age requirement to the NFL like the NBA. They could create minor league football teams. Let's have amateur sports again. I'm also sick of the one and done scholarships in basketball too.

Yes but he’s not much involved with moderating it these days.
