As a Buc fan I was for drafting Mariotta. But, we got the int. Machine JW. What an awful game, 4 interceptions and counting.

The Bucs will be 3-13 if they are lucky. Lovie will be gone by next year.

Yea. There are some great NFL QBs that had terrible first seasons. Winston will not be served well if he stays with the Bucs though. That is one screwed franchise.

3 games that the Bucs lost are on TWO people, Winston and the kicker....The defense has been doing their job but just like Tony Dungy, Lovie Smith is a great Coach but if you don't hold your offense accountable then you will be out of a job like Tony Dungy was. Tony never held his offense accountable as much as his defense. This is what I'm seeing with Lovie.

Winston on the other hand should not be in at QB, Glennon should be in their. Winston is not ready to be an NFL QB.

I don't know if JW will be a good pro or not...he is a gamer...kid can play but he does throw a lot of picks at times. Either way...the team around him sucks...the Bucs are horrible...the ONLY people thinking that the Bucs were going to be good this year were delusioNoles.

As for his play on the field so far, it does not surprise me at all. The only times the Bucs have been decent so far is when they way limit what they let him do and way dumb down the offense. And to say he has no team around him is misleading...Doug Martin is running the ball very well, there are two very good WRs in Jackson and Evans, and a very promising TE in Sefarian Jenkins. The O-Line has a long ways to go, but they are improving, and some of the new guys are getting a lot better. So lets not make TOO many excuses for that jamie guy/

The OL gets way too many penalties, mostly drive killing holding penalties. Yes Winston did have a bad game with 4 picks but he was very accurate overall. He was accurate last week but the receivers had about 10 drops. Winston will be fine but the Bucs need OL that know how to pass block. Winston was 26-43 for 287 and 2tds which is respectable. He just has to understand that these pro corners and linebackers are great athletes and will leap and pick those touch passes off. Bucs have a ton of issues but Winston is only a small part of the dumpster fire.

I will never forget the multitude of nole fan boys on local sports talk blowing up the phones every day saying how much better he was than MM, that MM was not NFL ready, was a product of the system, and can't read defenses. Furthermore they attacked anyone that didn't agree, and even got nasty about it. Got so bad at times, that at least one of the hosts had to ban jamie talk until draft day. So what do hear from then now? Not a damn thing.Typical noles.

After the debacle that was the opening game, they did to a large degree, and that was why they had better success vs the Saints. Yesterday was another 5 turnover debacle by jamie...obviously they let him do too much.

Again, I NEVER said because he sucks now, he would never be any good.

For one last time, this season thus far proves how full of crap the nole jamie jock sniffers were when they compared him t Mariota. That is all.
