Yep especially if you're east of the river. Heck, my patio umbrella hadn't even blown over!
Cape Coral here, this storm has provided very little in the way of wind that I’ve seen .... here at least.
Yesterday was light to moderate rain all day and no wind to speak of.
Last night her tail trained us all damn night (yes @gator1776 that reference is just for you), very heavy rain and wind within the red cells that passed over.
So far today we’ve had torrential rain and lightning from about 7:30 on up to around 10:30. It’s actually windier now than all of yesterday and this morning.
Most of the roads, particularly the secondary roads, have been virtually impassible due to all the rain flooding them. Some areas the flood level is up to the chassis of my work truck.
Hasn’t been raining since about 11 but the flooding is taking far too long to recede for safe vehicular travel. Of course, that hasn’t stopped the idiots and morons from flying through those areas producing double rooster tails.
