Tennessee didn’t just lose but they got smoked by Georgia State. I’m not sure UT will ever be good again.

I would be worried if I was a Georgia fan right now. FSU has lost today. Tennessee has lost today. Only a georgia loss remains for the triumvirate of evil to all go down on opening weekend for The Gators to truly enjoy this labor day weekend. Not saying it'll happen, but hey, i didn't think that even as bad as UcheaT is, they could lose at home to a team that would lose to most high school programs in the country. UT paid them 950,000$ to come in and beat them silly like that.
I've been preaching it since day 1 that Mr. Potatohead wasn't a real coach and had no business being named head coach of a program like Tennessee. Everyone kept saying, he's got them going in the right direction. My question is what direction? From DAY 1 on the job, he was blaming the players, throwing them under the bus. Every single chance he has had in front of a camera, he has blamed everything on his players, he doesn't have enough talent, he's going to kick out all the losers and bring in 25 players who want to win. Doesn't look like talent has EVER been their problem, as I've said from day 1. UT has 10 times as much talent on it's sidelines as GState does. This is all 100% a complete and total lack of coaching.
I keep wondering how on earth can Tennessee keep firing their coach every few years and actually find someone WORSE each and every time, but they never fail in doing so. Kiffin not as good as Philopotamus, then you get derek doodley, then butch jones and his great wall of life champions. Now they replace him with a guy who has never even been a football coach in his life. How can you keep throwing gasoline on your burning dumpster fire like they do?

Their football program is a dumpster fire. It is so so bad and they have made so many bad hires in a row that I’m not sure they can ever recover.

Scored the go ahead touchdown with 9 seconds left on the clock in the game. First lead they had all game long.
It actually was a very exciting game to watch in the 4th. Easily the most watchable game of the day IMHO, whether you were rooting for the SEC in this fight or rooting against Auburn considering we have to play them this year.

They shouldn’t have been that high to begin with if you listen to the talking heads. Everyone gives them a pass for their bowl because they weren’t at full strength yet they turn around and rank that same team without those players 7 in the preseason. IF they aren’t good without those 4 missing players then why are they ranked so high? People wanna have their cake and eat it too.

I never understood why they ranked them ahead of UF and I'm not saying that as a UF fan.
I'm basically saying team A beat team B by a large margin to end the year. Team B had players not play. Team B that lost to team B lost more important players than team A. However let's rank B over A.
So in summary, at least in the SEC.
Ole Miss lost to Memphis, easily this is not really an upset, but it is still absolutely pathetic on all levels.
SCAR loses to UNC even though they had a 20-9 lead. Muschamp as usual getting a 2 score lead and thinks it's insurmountable then tables the offense and plays clock control. UNC = 2 wins last year.
Tennessee loses to GeorgiaState. An FCS program that was founded in 2010 so is only in it's 9th season giving them their first Power5 win in program history. Coach Potatohead couldn't seem to care less at halftime and postgame.
Missouri loses to Wyoming. FREAKING WYOMING. I don't know how to say this any differently but that's easily just as bad as UT's loss. At least it was played AT Wyoming and not at home like UT.

UK came oh so close to losing to Toledo. Was in a total catfight until 3rd quarter and never once got it's running game on track. The same running game which was key to them winning all those games last year.

I was glad Michigan won. It would've been terrible for the teams that Florida had a built such an impressive 4 game winning streak on to all have lost to start 2019.
It was a great week for UF. We beat an in-State rival. FSU lost and UT lost. Couldn’t have gone much better.
Exactly! Because as we all know 2019 is solely based on what happened in 2018. I know it's been 39 long years since you guys sniffed a title.....
