But why do this in a blue state? I think there's a couple of reasons:

1 - Easier to perfect the process in blue states, since they are more corrupt. Nail down the process in the blue states, then roll out to the swing states.

2 - Pad the vote total, push for eliminating Electoral College and letting Popular Vote decide the president. Dems have been trying to get rid of the Electoral College for years. The EC makes it far more difficult for them to effectively cheat, which is why they want it out.
