Well, hello Insta! Long time no talk. I see you were already setting up getting blown out next week. Some things never change, I guess.
So many things to cover since the last time we chatted. Since you seem to have short-term memory and derangement syndrome, you might remember me as Irishfan 26, from the TN board. You know, the guy that lived in your head for so long. After seeing UF's incredible season go down in flames last night, I thought I would come to pay you a visit.
I think the first thing Coach Danny needed to do was make sure his team was disciplined. First thing, make sure no players throw shoes and cost the team the game. If there is one thing this team has learned from Danny is self-control and discipline. I mean, we have seen a coach start a brawl between players on the field, then run back out to hype the crowd up, like a bumbling buffoon at a WWE event.
We have also seen a coach that claimed a few thousand fans cost his team a game, not their near-the-bottom of the NCAA rankings defense. He then went on to claim he wanted to "pack the stadium" with 90,000 fans for the next game. I can't remember clearly, maybe you can help me, but what happened the next week? Seems like your season is going well. Is Trask still your Heisman favorite? I didn't see, but did he have a great game against one of the worst teams in the country last night? The same team Bama beat 55-17. The same team that a horrible QB from Miss St. set the SEC passing record against, in a win, by the way. Didn't LSU have 3 wins this entire season? I can't remember.
Have you been keeping up with my Irish? Knowing you, you have probably been on here claiming UF would destroy every team in the top 5, even though A&M embarrassed you all. Seems your best win is against a 2 loss UGA team, that didn't even have a QB at the time. How do you think it compares to ND's best win and loss? Did you catch our game against then #1 Clemson? Can you remind me who won that game? I know you think Clemson would get blown out by LSU if they played.
Hopefully, I get to catch up with you, Insta. Since ND has been lightyears ahead of UF the past 4 years, I haven't really felt the need to come and rub your face in it. But after last night's incredible showing, I thought today would be a great time to talk. Let me know how you've been and how UF's season is going. I've been so busy watching my Irish have the nation's longest win streak, a 23 game home winning streak, and 30 in a row against non-ranked opponents. I guess we are lucky our team is disciplined enough to not throw shoes in critical moments of a game. How embarrassing would that make a program and coach look?
