What are we Auburn now

That would be nuts he is a one read type that would even struggle at Auburn now probably.

Zaire is an awful passer I hope this doesn't happen. And it's starting to be telling they keep bringing in all these transfers, they clearly don't have any confidence in what's on campus now. You shouldn't be looking for a stopgap QB in year 3.

QB Jake Allen of STA:
Last Game (playoff) vs Mater Academy - 15 of 18 (83.3%) for 181 yds, 3 TD's, 0 Ints.
Sr Season - 1,804 yds, 21 TD's, 5 Ints.

Both QB's will consider UF, I hope neither come here. LDR - Applybe all over again.
Baylor/JuCo Jarrett Stidham - 3 years of eligibility remaining (LDR now 2 yrs remain).
Neutered Lame QB Malik Zaire - Grad-Sr with 1 year eligibility remaining (Appleby).
Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over, while expecting different results.
Zaire Grad-Sr -- LDR rsJr -- Stidham rsSo
Franks rsFr -- Trask rsFr -- Allen Fr
NUTTS!

PS -- 4 Star Lemons, or 3 Star Davis?

RB Malik Davis 5-11 190 *** - Sr Season, in 11 regular season games:
173 for 2,130 yds, 12.3 ypc, 193.6 yds/gm, 31 TD's, 10 100+ yd/gms, L-91.
His last game - 227 yds, 2 TD's, L-71 yds, in a State Playoff game against Immokalee, final score Jesuit 59 - 29 Immok.

Career - 790 for 6.690 yds, 8.5 ypc, 145.4 yds/gm, 81 TD's, L-91 yds.
Receiving - 23 for 280 yds, 12.2 yds/rec, 1 TD, L-72 yds.
Career Totals - 46 gms, on 813 touches, 7 Fumbles, 5 Lost, Total Pts scored 494
He is the Hillsbouough Co. (Tampa) All Time Career Rushing Yds Record holder.

I agree. And if not for a QB with substance abuse problems, we would not be looking for stop-gap QBs.

That said, Mac is responsible for Franks and Trask, as well as AA and LDR. If we do not get competent QB play next year, that is ALL on Mac.

I hope Trask or Franks steps up. I am just not that confident in Allen after watching him in situations where their team isn't in a good spot.

So the one quality QB is the one Mac didn't bring here. Hmmmm....

And remember, he and his side kick Nuss were itching for LDR even when they had Grier

The fact that is a "hope" and not a certainty is why Florida is once again also looking at QB transfers. I think Mac want to have as much competition next year as possible.

I think it's pretty clear that Mac would prefer to wait for his QBs to be in the system for 2 years before they play.

Which, Michi, take a seat bro and brace yourself buddy...is definitely an Alabama philosophy.

Jalen Hurts is the first true freshman start for Alabama in...um...well I think they said it's the first time in history.

Stidham I understand even though I'd prefer to let one of the young guys play. He played in a wide open offense and had success as a true freshman. If he comes here and succeeds you have him for 2-3 more years. But Zeir? He has one year. Even if he comes here and does well the very next year you're back at square one. So that tells me it's deeper than competition. Why would you risk the transfer of one of your own QB's for a 1-year rental?

Because Mac wants as much competition going into next year as possible?

Why attempt to gain competition with a guy that lost his job elsewhere? Wouldn't it say a lot that he thought a guy that got benched just this year could compete with what we have?

It is a good question. Indicates that between LDR, Franks, Trask and Allen, Mac is not sure that he has the right answer for next year

Yea that's what I'm saying. Stidham I understand and am ok with. I don't get Zeir. And reaching out to both at the same time seems desperate which isn't a good sign about Franks' and Trask's prospects. Idk what to think now.

We have seen glimpses with Appleby I. The game that play calling can be different. Id be interested in Stidham.

If he can't get one of these ready to play for 2017 (Trask-Franks-Allen) then Clarabel is going to bite him square in his azz, and he will certainly deserve it!

If he brings in either of those xfers, then I'm done with them (McNuss).

Zaire is listing us in his top 3 so I assuming we have shown interest. And ND just blocked all their opponents besides UNC as possible destinations

Those good old drunk woman abusers at neutered lame are always looking out for their student-athletes best interests...

(btw, do they sew his nutts back on before he leaves?) :D

Someone is reporting he isn't coming here because we have been suspended from taking grad transfers by the NCAA because of some past ones not completing school or something like that.

nothing would surprise me at Florida anymore, we sure as hell don't wanna just bring in good players like Auburn to win fast.

I guess we are just like Bama now bringing in hired guns that have no intention of getting their Masters degree. The same win at all costs mentality.
