We will no longer be the United States of America

I get that with one difference, Chaney retired from them before he was elected in. He wasn’t in and taking money from foreign governments for access. I’ll take the guys who’ve actually been successful in outside endeavors to then serve in office, not the lifer in office who somehow becomes a multi millionaire while never being outside of government service. Oh and who’s wife earns a teachers salary😉💵

Well then, you will be please to know that as late as 2009, he had a net worth of 30K, and he has earned over 15 million from book deals and speaking engagements, and as a professor at Penn, all since 2016, after he left public service. So there you go, you can stop worrying about him being corrupt.

You're dishonest. Ghost never "impressed" you.
I notice you didn't respond to his assertions. Deflect, deflect, deflect.
May I just say, there is a point were you just have to not answer ghost because he has to have the last word. Frankly, I only have enough effort to give to keep answering.

And of course, if Biden does win, the first thing he will do is cancel the special prosecutor, so Ghost's "it's coming" mantra will never happen, just like I told him almost a year ago it would never happen. @GhostOfMatchesMalone

So under your scenario the dems still broke the law, they just buried the guy that was gonna prosecute them over it?

That is 100% what it means to think like a democrat.

Yeah I don’t think so, we’ll see although if he gets in it’ll be buried as we know how that works.

Read the article. Since he provides his tax returns (unlike some), it's all public record. Deal with the reality, you were wrong.

We’ll see, if you’re for corruption of a life long politician over a mouthy businessman who came in with policies to strength the country have at it. I’m not convinced, but hey if the election proves to be in the up and up, I’m all for who the election puts in office. Again, we’ll see.

I'm fine with taking the person who has given his life to public service (being in public service doesn't make you corrupt, it's a HIGHER calling than going into business) over the guy who repeatedly declares bankruptcy to avoid paying bills he legitimately owes and has the money to pay, all day long.

I want the guy with the 'D' next to his name. That's all you had to say because that's the beginning and end of your vetting process.

Yeah if what he’s tweeting or posting on here is true. But don’t forget this was the guy that told us Trump was going to win 340 electoral votes. At some point you just have to realize and ideologue on either side is going to post suspect information and post. The truth is this is a damn close election it’ll probably be decided by a couple hundred thousand votes. Could there be fraud, sure, maybe they’ll figure it out in the courts maybe they won’t.

but just like you can’t trust some of the crap posted by far left people like @BSC911 it’s equally evident you can’t trust a lot of the crap that @GhostOfMatchesMalone post.

And no matter who wins the other side’s going to claim it was Rigged because it’s so close and so polarized. I guess we’ll see how the courts play out.

My doubt about the overnight counting has very little to do with anyone's posts from this board.

Nor does mine. But the continuous posting of how much of a landslide it was going to be is frustrating in retrospect.

Most candidates have enough sense to know when to bow out gracefully. Clinton, Romney, McCain, and Kerry all conceded defeated without making baseless allegations of cheating or intentionally trying stoke tension. I don’t see why Biden would be any different.

Trump is unique in this respect.

Your party's policy on bowing out gracefully, prior to the election, begs for your attention.

In this exact situation, there is ZERO chance that the left bows out gracefully.

So it's his volume, not the words, that bother you?

Trump needs to fight this. If it turns out that he lost fair and square, then it's time to bow out. Until then, no freaking chance.

Trump uses rhetoric to inflame people who don't know, or don't understand, rhetoric. They think he has documented evidence of fraud, but some "deep state" is keeping him from acting on it. The repercussions from his actions have been significant.

Whereas, others who think there has been voter fraud (on both sides, mind you) would realize that there has never been any evidence of any level of fraud that would change any large election. They would call for a review of voting procedures, maybe appoint a commission to review different ways of securing the votes. They wouldn't go up on a stage and yell "I've been cheated!" at the top of their lungs. So no, it's not the volume. It's the method.

If Biden ends up losing, he will bow out gracefully. But I don't think he will need to.

We disagree on the last part. We have provided evidence on this board of voter fraud. How much is there? Great question...we don't know. I believe what I believe and you will NEVER agree.

As for Trump's rhetoric, you focus more on how words make you feel. I focus more on what words mean. We're different and that explains our differing views.

That agree with this. When is is close I don’t think either side should concede without recounts in making sure the election was fair. The large number of mail In ballots makes it easy to cheat unfortunately. You just have to hope that in America we wouldn’t do that, but these days I think people would.

Great news is this election is a win win. Both parties can claim victory. Dems got the White House back while Pubs held onto the Senate and picked off a few house seats. Should be a Hallmark feel good story.

Or we can go with what will actually happen:

Trump wins re-election

Senate stays Rs with same margin

House stays D, Rs gain seats. Take over control in 2022.

Good for you, I’m sure you’ll be ok then as only people making over $400,000 will pay higher taxes. I’m sure the Iran deal will be back in place and we know that’s a great thing. Like I said before we’ll see, guy won’t make it through the 4yrs, that’s my prediction.

This is the best outcome. Trump is gone and the wacko left is muzzled for a few years.

At this point, no one needs to concede. We still haven’t counted all the votes.

The problem is Trump immediately stirring things up, claiming the dems cheating, that he won, etc.

There is no evidence of any cheating, unless you count the attempts by DeJoy and the GOP to slow down the mail and then disqualify ballots for arriving late.

And it’s wildly premature for Trump to declare victory.

What Trump is doing is needlessly riling people up.

There's countless examples of cheating, just look at the threads started here.

This morning, 183k votes magically got added to the count in Michigan at roughly 4am. EVERY SINGLE VOTE WAS FOR HIDEN. It was JUST enough to give him the slimest of leads.

Same thing happened in WI.

In AZ, red districts were giving voters sharpies to vote with instead of ball point pens. Their votes were invalidated.

No evidence of cheating????? No evidence you will admit to.

Luckily, you aren't the one that will be reviewing the evidence. The Supreme Court will. Including newly minted Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

"The problem is Trump is getting people upset by pointing out we cheated!"

Katie Hobbs, the secretary of state of Arizona, stated that ballots marked with sharpies are being counted.

Also:

Sharpies will not invalidate your ballot, Maricopa County officials say

Also, the guy who spread the magical votes found in Michigan rumor retracted his tweet:

You complain about "fake news" yet you are eager to believe unverified rumors that you find on social media.

What Trump is doing is needlessly riling people up.

BTW, I worked all day. I haven't heard or read a single word that Trump has said. And yet I am still rilled up.

The voter turnout in battleground states should be concerning to you. It's off the charts....unbelievably so. Maybe the Republicans cheated....but sure AF something is amiss.

With the propaganda coming from main stream media, do you expect that to get better or worse?

Better than half of the country don't trust our media (4th estate). They are absolute shills for the left. At this point people aren't even denying it anymore. It is absolutely human nature for people to seek the truth the best ways they can.

Maybe, and just hear me out, if we could return that 4th estate back into an information machine instead of partisan propaganda, unverified crap on Twitter would lose some traction?

Do you know how "the evening news" got its start? If not, do the research. It's history worth knowing and understanding.

Since you tagged me, I thought I would respond at how much respect I’ve lost for you as a poster. I go way back to the days of Gator Bait and Marty Cohen, Mark Wheeler and the old guard. I’ve always enjoyed your posts and your digs at Fresno, Swamp Thing and others. But I guess politics changes people. Your posting here has being myopic and sense of humor lacking. I mean, copying others?

And how dare you compare me to that idiot Ghost. Do you see me posting crazy conspiracy theories and being consistently wrong about EVERYTHING? Nope. I said the election would be close, with Biden winning. I was spot on. I am hardly a Lefty or an ideologue, just recognize what a joke of a president Trump is. Biden was literally the only Dem I voted fo so calling me far left means as much as your other attempted insults.

So, while I’m sure you don’t care, I just wanted to let you know you lost a fan.

I actually like a stalemated government as well. We tend to get some decent outcomes when everybody has to compromise. When either side gets all the power things get sideways.

Two things have destroyed journalism. The advent of huge media corporations that own hundreds of media outlets, and social media, where everyone has a voice, and the hubbub drowns out the real journalists.
