When defending passes we need to get the ball on the ground vs always trying to intercept. Early in this game it almost cost us a TD when two of our DB's couldn't get the ball on the ground and let it hit the UK WR in the hands only to see him drop it. At end of game we elected to intercept on 4th down heave deep when knocking it down would have placed us at least 30 yds further away from our goal line. In an earlier game same thing happened when we missed and it cost us a TD. Can some of you staffers ask what is taught to DB's in those situations?
